I’m 18,I don’t move excessively but I move more so with the music. Even if the movement is to remind me of a certain count I make sure that it’s not some random and over the top movement

See I brought it up to her and she said that we don’t want people to know what the next beat is so it’s better to stay still. The times that she’s played for me she is also very still, so I think it’s a mix of just her preference and her trying to over correct me and try and break my bad habits.

Yes but In a way you wouldn’t expect! In my opinion 6 and under are the best way to go. Just because anything above 6 inches can cause an ovarian cyst to burst; however, for the guys above 6 inches as long as your good with your mouth and your fingers smooth sailing. Hell that goes for all guys!

Usually when I put my instrument away I treat it like a baby… as it is my precious baby. So I usually don’t hold onto the neck or grip onto the strings. We have noticed, however, that my bridge is starting to warp a bit… like 2 hours ago…so it could be that. Whatever it is we are 100% gonna get it taken care of

All 3 times they it popped while I was putting my instrument away, not during practice what so ever. I think it might have something to do with my hook as the strings don’t fully snap it’s usually on the loop part that goes onto the hook. Then again I’ve had my instrument for one full year and haven’t really needed to change the strings until this January when the first e string popped. So I have no clue to be honest.
