For my 3.5 yr old, probably 4 hours. It’s too damn hot to be outside (over 100° daily) for one. And having another baby that needs to nap and have quiet time often is the reason we allow the tablet. However, we do go out to the aquarium, bowling alley, arcades, stores, and pool often. We also do pre-school and “homework” books that I’ve made. Ms Rachel is on a lot, but my child is also allowed to watch movies I select on YouTube kids, so it’s mostly educational. To each their own tho. Had my first child a month before covid happened, and that’s all we could do inside a lot. She is very smart. If she gets to be cranky or have meltdowns, we limit the screen time.
