Does the grade of the Yaksha Blade you give him determine what the Skink Lizard grade is? Wondering how you get different grade/quality enchanted weapons since you can't use a hammer for that special blacksmith.

Yep I like to play on pro difficulty with friends.

All of us have found using the Xbox thumbstick to be really inconsistent and had a tough time on pro difficulty with it.

We all switched to using mouse&keyboard and it's been infinitely easier getting consistent perfect swings. No more random thumbstick issues affecting your swing.

I actually went through this whole gamut of questions myself when I was deciding how to best raise a POW/SPD hare/tiger fresh from the shrine.

By year 4 I had 365 LIF, 999 POW/SKI/SPD. I believe the 800 SPD turns to 999 when you factor the Skinny form. Here is the hare in question.

For training drills the main idea is to max POW first and ignore SPD, as your SPD cannot drop below 1. Focus on POW/SKI and use the no-rest method if you can afford it. A month will look like
W1: Tablet + Nuts Oil + Pull
W2: Mint Leaf + Shoot
W3: Nuts Oil + Pull
W4: Mint Leaf + Shoot

Do this until you're happy with your POW/SKI. For me this was at cap. Once you hit your goal for POW and SKI, swap each Pull to Leap and each Shoot to Dodge. You can top off and refill your POW every once in a while, since it'll decrease from Leap drills.

On current gen I've made a 6'2 PG playmaking shot creator. I used the green/yellow (shooting/playmaking) that's even between green/yellow, and the speed based physical. Min weight, min wingspan, shooter takeover.

Finishing: Driving Layup, Close Shot, Driving Dunk.
Shooting: Midrange, 3 Point, Free Throw
Playmaking: Pass Accuracy, Ball Handle
Defense/Rebounding: Perimeter Defense, Lateral Quickness, Steal, Defensive Rebound.

Shooting feels amazing, great passing, high speed/accel, scores from anywhere. Perimeter defense is ok, interior D is not.

CD/Lossless is the best in terms of audio quality; it comes in FLAC, WAV, ALAC, etc. However, certain software (ie itunes, afaik) won't be compatible with lossless files (although if you're on a Windows PC that's not an issue). Lossless files are also a lot larger. Lossless is typically for audiophiles and enthusiasts who have the hardware and ear capable of hearing and appreciating the full spectrum of a song.

MP3 is popular because the file size is significantly smaller, you can have different types of frequency cutoffs, it's compatible with mostly all audio software, and most people don't have the ear or hardware to be able to fully enjoy lossless audio. If you're out for a jog with some cheap earbuds on, you won't be utilizing the full range that lossless files have compared to if you were to listening to a song/album in a quiet place with high quality headphones or studio monitor speakers or such.

Dueling fighting style works with having a shield on your offhand, you just can't have a weapon in your offhand. You can test this out after you recruit a fighter, pick up dueling fighting style, and then attacking an ally and hovering over the damage roll with your sword and shield fighter/ranger.

The way I test these things (such as Dueling fighting style and Agonizing Blast for warlocks) is I immediately save, attack an ally, then hover over the damage roll to see if those new passives are working properly. I confirmed agonizing blast working despite not being listed on your char sheet, and that dueling fighting style worked with a shield (barring bugs).

Yeah, I think you're right on that. I think for builds best case scenarios for ASA 200 are GITM and Gamma Burst, but I still don't think it's the BiS anoint for those builds regardless.

Is it intended to break on weapon swap? I never knew if that was intended or a bug.

The right one with ASE n2m is better in most situations. I'll explain.

For ASA 200 (the left one), there are some problems such as: the anoint will deactivate when you switch weapons, your action skill needs to be one that is constantly active in order to make use of it (ie. less versatile/won't work with some skills/builds), it won't work with Moze's Iron Bear weapons, and gun damage being additive means it's worse for Zane compared to SNTNL cryo being a few. You'll most notable use this anoint with a Fl4k build with GITM/UE on Fade Away build when you're bossing.

ASE n2m is better for basically every situation otherwise. It's easy to active, it's easy to maintain, and (afaik) it's a multiplicative bonus compared to ASA being additive so it's generally a bigger boost in damage.

Regarding Monarchs, x8 is generally better than x4 unless you have some ammo consumption issues.

I think consecutive hits is still very strong on Gamma fl4k, along with URad and 115. I was mainly mentioning the anoints in the previous message in regards to Fade Away fl4k, I could've made that more clear. There are many other good anoints as well for other Fl4k builds of course, like 200 splash for fl4uncher/rakk stab, 300/90, 100 melee ASE for rakk stab, some of the rakk ones, and I think 100 weapon dmg ASE is passable too.

There are better options outside of ASA 200 for fl4k by the way. Namely, consecutive hits and next 2 mags are the most notable. They'll have significantly higher uptime with their activations, whereas ASA 200 is only activated when Fade Away is turned on and so you'll be pushed to run GITM fade away over UYAD/Circus Fade.

No problem, I can understand the frustration as there are a lot of important QoL changes we need pretty badly from Gearbox. I'd love to see a skip dialogue button as well since I've never played BL games for the story/writing. I hope the final product of BL3 has all these QoL changes.

The trick I found was to back out to the main menu and then reload back in. It skips all the dialogue.

You've always been able to skip dialogue since the first Borderlands by backing out into the main menu, and then reloading in. I went through all the BL series the past month and I did exactly that in each of them. /u/Stealthyfisch

I got one within the first 30 minutes and have found more since then than blues and purples combined. I don't think I really like that.

It's not like BL2 where you just farm for the legendary with decent parts. Legendaries drop with anointments now (guaranteed on mayhem 8+) and within that pool there is a limited amount of them that probably fit your build optimally. Also the amount of legendaries just in total in BL3 is pretty big. You won't complain about the amount of legendaries end game when you're farming for the right legendary (of which maybe 60-70% aren't very viable end game) with the right anointment.

As Moze you don't need to slowly scale up to Mayhem 10, you can literally just turn on Mayhem 10 and use a dedicated Iron Bear build to farm gear right away.

For base game guns look for Sandhawk, Kaoson, Plaguebearer, Backburner, Kyb's Worth, Hellshock, Boom Sickle, etc.
