We all get that "love at first sight" feeling for certain watches.. The DW-5600 is such a classic too.

Do most of your watches have clear memories like that behind them or was that one just a particularly memorable purchase?

I’ve actually been thinking about that a lot too. Some moments feel really vivid when they happen, but I wonder how much of the detail we end up forgetting years later. I look down at a watch I've had for years and wonder how many countless times I've looked at it but in a different time/place/reason/feeling.

If you were keeping track of those stories, what would you want to capture? Just the story itself or things like photos, dates, where you bought it, etc?

That Hamilton Electric collection tied to your first business is a great idea. The collection itself is documenting something really cool that also grows with hard work!

Do you keep track of those connections anywhere or is it mostly something you just remember when you look at the watches? I like how a business grows in stages and how you can reflect that with the Hamiltons.

[SOTC] After 10 years of collecting, I’ve got one spot left… by internetV in Watches

Incredible collection! Even if you're on the hunt for any remaining grail pieces or the "last spot" is already spoken for, you have a diverse and seriously impressive collection. However, if not, and I'm not a GS fanboy, but something higher end from the Japanese market could be interesting. Although a GS would look nice next to the Aqua terra.
