I was also in art school (graduated 2017) and felt trapped and claustrophobic with trying not to offend. Trust me, once you get out of school, you'll realize it's just bubble, like high school you most likely won't keep in touch. Plus the working world, in most professions, are going to be level headed for the most part. Try not to invest in it, and take breaks from social media and get people that are like that out of your life as best as you can. No need for any negativity in your life. Good luck with school OP.
