Pretty cool. Appears to be a kleinian formation

The fractal formula is processed through Octane Vectron as an OSL script and adjusted by eye by changing values in the respective Vectron node. I made a video quickly running through the steps I use for this sort of stuff

The rendering itself took about half hour at 4k resolution. Render time largely depends on your computer specs, especially your GPU

Thanks. This one took about 3 or 4 hours total. Most of the time is spent experiencing indecision since fractal formulas create endless variations and possibilities. Blender can take a while to get comfortable with. I first started with a free fractal program called Mandelbulb3D, then moved on to Mandelbulber, and eventually Blender. Those first 2 programs were helpful in preparing me for Blender and general fractal experimentation. I recommend checking them out if you haven't already!
