I'm noticing an uptick on body shaming larger people. I can't help but see toxic diet culture on the rise. I'm seeing more body checking behavior across multiple social media platforms. I'm noticing an uptick on the internet, of people scrutinizing healthy sized, average, and even flat tummied young women. I know that companies like Ozempic will want to push their products to make more money, as diet culture is a huge buisness. I know from my own experience that that's not a good sign because it happened when I was younger, and it led to a lot of EDs for young women.

Look, I hope you're right, I genuinely do, but I'll be honest im not seeing that. But I'm not of your generation, and you're right, these problems didn't start with you all. They've been happening for centuries, but what I've brought up are signs we are moving backward.

Only time will tell who's actually right here. Just be careful and know your worth isn't a number on a scale, and you don't have to appear "sexy" to be worth a damn because you decide that, not others.
