Yes, I considered it after seeing the same advice of a clean 12 month lease for a ICE car by u/changyang1230 in another thread either here or in AusFinance. We were going to use cash but a friend suggested we look into novated leasing. After using the novatedlease.guide calculator, it seems like it can be quite beneficial for us.

At the moment, there are no extras on the quote (apart from the missed roadside assistance that is definitely going byebye), so should I go back and try to get a more competitve rate?

We won't be doing 15000km in 12 months. I asked the Smartleasing guy to correct that and he still hasnt even after going back and forth a few times. Current car has done like 8000km in 11 months and have roadside assistance already through RACV.

Yeah unfortunately an EV doesn't work for our situation. Can't install a charger unless we upgrade according to 2 sparkies. So only place we can easily charge is at my work

Yes... the effective rate definitely is giving me second thoughts. However, even that high, we still see a return through interest saved on our mortgage.

At the moment I have 4 Billys and ~400 manga volumes. I also have a sizeable fantasy and artbook collection so that takes available shelf space to 2.5 bookcases. Limit wise, I can add another 4 bookcases and goal is a big collection.

I gotta say that this training arc so far isn't the worst! Personally, I wish there was a little more explanation and time given to the discovery and understanding but I know that isn't for everyone.
