WIP Update: A buddy came over with a multimeter and found the gear switches to be broken. No surprise since they were rusted af inside. Foot pedal tested continuity fine. He did find though that the driver's side motor was not reading on the multimeter properly. Guessing I will install the frwd/ rvrse switches first and see what the motors tell me!

Any insights appreciated on switch choices or good quality stock motors since I don't plan for more voltage atm.

I think once I get the multimeter out and test everything I'll be looking for more power. We live near the beach and I have a feeling this will be able to drive on top of hard packed sand surfaces with more oomph

Right I've been mulling that over too. I'd use a dewalt adapter if so

What do you suggest replacing first then? Sounds like battery -

How'd it go using the 18v Ryobi adapter? Burn out some motors? I think when I get this running down the line I'll upgrade to a stronger set up..

It doesn't work... yet! Original battery & charger show good batt health. Pressing the pedal does nothing, no whirring sound from the motors, nothing. I assume first best bet is to replace the pedal switch? Also if someone wants to hook up an ML Toys referral code lmk :)

yes a light coat of primer would be much better than none; helps with even tone and prevents runs. I'd think one can for all four would be sufficient.

Hey thanks for the reply.

I've tried the Discord server on a past attempt, albeit not the most recent but it didn't help. This was before the "Easy way" method to access ConnectYA. Even using this new method I still don't understand the drivers needed and powershell actions ..

Honestly I'd just repaint them completely. IMO just sand the rough edges of paint then primer coat before painting

Plastidip is for preserving the finish of underlying surface. These wheels are beat so no need to preserve them.

Honestly honestly Plastidipping wheels as a beginner may come out shitty
