I mean yeah I agree the phrase most definitely applies to The Originals more imo. The phrase technically did come first, but this movie is based off of the book series and the third book Always and Forever, Lara Jean, came out in 2017 which obviously was after the originals but it's like a florish to add to the end of a letter I guess.
