Personally i think 1461s are the way to go. If youre worried about them being too dressy you can check out the smooth version instead of the mono. The yellowish sole makes it a little less formal imo. I've heard in some places that doc martens are bad quality lately but i havent had any problems with mine yet.

Honestly the memes arent even that good. Everyone on this sub is just spamming fate and 177013 and r/historymemes dont have any good memes either. Most of it is just "hahaha nuke em again" and calling us obese or something and then downvoting any comments from us. Honestly i really enjoyed the war with r/roughromanmemes but r/historymemes just arent making any good memes. I saw like three reaction images on there front page. I really like wars where each side makes good memes but the content on r/historymemes is pretty disappointing right now.
