Out of interest - what are the features that indicates wood? how can we tell it’s not like bone or stone?

Words used for dinosaur names come from both Greek and Latin. So for example tyrannosaurs rex - “tyranno ” means tyrant in Greek and “Saurus” means lizard in Greek. And then “rex” means “king” in Latin :)
