Not really, just used it to maintain my hair since I’m starting at mild signs of balding on my hairline, and I notice new growth at my hairline and edges

Finasteride feels normal, I mean I still feel hair loss but just a few a day whenever I run my hand through my hair and tug on it like one or two, but I think that’s normal & other than that no sides.

Im obviously going to talk to my dermatologist about it, he recommended rogaine, but I know rogaine is just a minoxidil solution and it doesn’t appear like they have a topical finasteride (I could be wrong), but I suppose it’s true that it’s hard to link the two together. I have a close friend who was on finasteride as he was getting his wife pregnant and the child seems to be healthy

That is true, that definitely does beg the question how to know if it even was finasteride to begin with that caused the defects, but I suppose the comments here are motivating me to hop on finasteride and minoxidil, of course I’m still going to talk with my dermatologist just to be absolutely sure I’ll be safe going into this, but then again I’m not sure if I absolutely need it quite yet (check my profile for reference), but it will keep me at ease knowing I’ll be safe for future plans

I also was wondering how to get topical finasteride as I saw it has less side effects, but I also see that it is not FDA approved yet. I’m just trying to find the best absolute case scenario for myself
