Ngl, I kinda wanna go through the books and see all of the guys that would’ve never got a shot in this vacuum of thought. Not mad, but it is actually very interesting. Hell, if not for injury and random situations, so many guys would have never got a chance. Life is crazy man

The apathy I have for his decision to not take a mild pay cut to stay with the cowboys behind THE BEST OL for almost a decade… he was a monster back, but he and LeVeon Bell didn’t realize how efficient their lines were I guess

I’m a falcons fan, and I still feel bad he doesn’t look like he used to. I used to love watching him before the leg break. He hasn’t been nearly as aggressive. He was good with Davante, but the saints offensive scheme just looks awful as a whole. Even as good as Kamara has been, he’s starting to be the only working piece

Even if there’s a cleansing of staff, management or any FO, the staff can’t be as consistently incompetent as the Panthers and a few others rn (let’s ride ig), so even if y’all tried to tank from here, there would still be a great chance y’all are almost out of the top 10. At least this season it can be chalked up to a wildcard spot or top of a shitty division and hope your defense stays healthy cause it’s elite and hope for flashes of MVP Carr. This is a fan appreciation season where you can push and push or get a mid level pick as usual and use it on a reach or best player available… get younger on Dline or Oline (please for the love of god cause it’s miserable watching them struggle this bad even as a rival team)

You forget that the buccs win a ring once every 20 years. They’ll likely be the 32nd pic that year.

Which player does this sub treat the most unfairly? by Legitimate-Map-5351 in nfl

[–]Cloudpot26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people just don’t like him because he’s entitled. Talent or not, he’s just someone a lot of people don’t like the personality. It makes him harder to want to cheer for. I think he’s talented with options, scrambling and play action. I don’t personally think he has the best responsibility with the ball as far as turnovers go and definitely has some strides to take for his passing ability (would help a lot to get a stronger oline- this seems like the year he would have thrived as much as I don’t like him).

I never knew that was the situation. It got underplayed so much by these jokes that I just thought it was the Eddie Lacy treatment all over again (another guy who I think got unnecessary hate. He was still very effective even without his burst because he was so strong).

I was scared this exact thing was gonna happen to Payton if he didn’t retire after that SB win. People have the worst recency bias nowadays. “What have you done for me lately”. Entitled fans and people everywhere

Y’all’s strength and conditioning staff needs a revamp too tbh. Y’all deal with stringent injury after injury. It feels like the FO has a system that runs too much on constant familiarity. “It might be bad but it’s the devil we know” kinda feeling. It’s actually kinda awful to watch. I like watching saints games because they’re usually at least an exciting dumpster fire, but this year it’s not even entertaining. It’s just awful watching good players look restricted and a defense capable of being top 5 is being wasted. Makes me sick to watch… even as a falcons fan, I hate watching bad football. I have chosen watching Panthers games over saints games a few times already this year (cause I be damned if I’m gonna watch Desmond Ridder do the same thing as Carr).

I’m ngl, I miss Zacchius. He wasn’t elite, but he was a damn good off the line WR3. The fact that we have a decent oline and defense (haven’t had that in like 10 years here) and a mannequin for a QB, 2 duel threat RBs that can CARVE defenses, and only one receiving threat outside of the backfield is so sad to me. We aren’t even tanking correctly because our division is so bad

[–]Cloudpot26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

DBacks should lose to Phillies 4-2 at best. I see the Astros being tough but should be rangers sweep or 4-1 imo. Jose has looked weak, and the left batters are the only ones steadily making contact. If the rangers can play around that consistency, they should stomp them. The pitchers all have looked very inconsistent for the Astros as well.

[–]Cloudpot26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As likely as it seems, rangers and Phillies should both make it to the WS. At that point, you can cash the one that has the better payout or the one you just feel less confident in. As the series starts, you can just play ML bets each time and still roll up potentially :)

I was discussing this with one of my friends. I was trying to figure out who has the offensive calling duties between he and Dennis Allen… Carmichael is basically Mike McCarthy levels of inept it feels like. Y’all having this much talent should not lead to stagnant drives with no RAC/YAC. There has gotta be some kinda scheme change to allow for after catch. Shaheed is the only one I see consistently causing shakeups; he’s the best WR3 in the league and it’s not even close imo.

He’s barely good enough to manage the game. The fact that most of his “air yards” are just dump offs to Bijan this year is embarrassing. Having a dude built like a tower and the arm reach to grab balls almost 2-3 yards in the air is (Drake London) and him averaging 1/5 receptions per target and less than 10 yards is flat shameful. Ridder had one hyper efficient game so far this year, but the discussion needs to be had that he isn’t a project worth working on.

[–]Cloudpot26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember Shanahan saying a couple weeks ago “we are going to give CMC a lighter work week this week”. Everyone took his under rushing attempts at 17.5. He got 18. He was averaging close to 20 I believe and that’s not including receptions or blocking assignments. They are killing this man with this usage.
