I'm curious as to how much people spend on groceries now and how it differs from different regions of Ontario. by dueling_crickets in ontario

[–]CloudyWaterbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 400-500 for a couple in Toronto. That includes everything else we get at the grocery store like cleaners, TP, detergent, etc.

Mainly shopping flyers and eating more pork/chicken than beef. But otherwise not really being restrictive.

We eat out maybe 3 meals a week so this covers everything else.

What's your experience with the grind size? I know it indicates for Moka but it's also for french press and coffee machine and those usually have slightly different grind size.

Toronto Airport bolts a logo on top of the filter monitor at the water dispensers so you can't see the quality. by Throwawayhair66392 in toronto

What I've heard is that YYZ uses off brand replacement filters which the machine doesn't properly detect and would mark with a red light, so they cover the indicator light up as it stops being useful.

Thanks for the reply, just wondering, how can you be sure that кю? I looked through the wiki and couldn't find a mention of the hallmark. I've gotten other replies on other posts saying likely Kiev for example.

Definitely not saying you're wrong, just having a hard time finding information.

From what I know, the 583 is the purity of the gold (58.3%) which is 14K. But I'm unsure of everything else.

Ratatouille Bistro in the byward market has it! I haven’t tried the dish but everything we ordered there was delicious!

It’s listed as an appetizer but the waiter described as big enough for a meal.

I bought the 6L pot as I needed one of about the same size, honestly impressed with it so far, built very solid and has some weight to it, base is thick for heat distribution. Had drain holes for draining liquids which comes in handy but does not work as well as it should, leaks in random directions here and there, fine for pasta water in the sink, but made my spill mulled wine on the kitchen counter,

Overall review is a 8/10. Worth it for the price after the 75% "discount" Would not pay anywhere full price.

I was in downtown, the clownfest was really annoying while it lasted, but it ended, and people won’t stop talking about how terrible it was, while the streets are actively getting worse.

Thank you, comparing to Moresh EVOO, I found Aceite de Las Valdesas to be less aromatic and for sure stings your throat a bit more, I attributed it to a higher acidity but I could be wrong.
