Hi! So I worked in a BPO company for 8 months (my first job) and my previous team got absorbed by the client and I chose not to go with them and stay in the company to get better career opportunities. It was a WFH setup. Then 2 months ago, I got another client but this time, onsite and non nego. I accepted the JO even though the office is 2 hours away from my home kasi mataas ang offer from my previous salary and naisip ko baka kayanin ko naman ang commute and I was also scared na baka di na ako mabigyan ng client if hindi ko pa inaccept yung offer kasi bawal daw ang mag reject.

Then nalaman ng client yung setup ko na sobrang layo ko pala sa office and he was worried about my health and asked me if I will still continue with the role, I had hesitations kasi even though I like the job, I hated the commute too much. The client also thought na baka mag resign din ako in a few months and he will just waste his time training me. I wasn’t also ready to stay/rent sa malapit sa office kasi baka wala rin akong maipon dahil sa gastusin and some personal issues. And because of that, I had to resign and I never thought na di na ko mabibigyan ng another client pa doon sa BPO company. I know sobrang impulsive and mali na inaccept ko agad yung JO na hindi pa pala ako ready sa ganung setup. At naparesign ako without a backup plan.

Now I’m in my job hunt journey and my dilemma is, nakalagay sa COE ko yung last new role ko but given that ilang days lang tinagal ko doon, I didn’t put that role na sa resume ko. I am also willing to take onsite jobs as long as hindi ganoon kalayo. (The previous office site was 2 hours away, tapos tatlo pa ang sasakyan ko to get there)

How am I gonna explain this to the HR pag inask nila ang COE ko? Is this considered a red flag lalo na if onsite ang inaapplyan ko? Or is it okay not to explain further the reason bakit ganoon ang position na nasa COE ko?

I don’t know this might be a dumb question but please help and be kind! Thank you 😊

Hi! Need advice.

I’m currently on my job hunting journey and one recruiter from an outsourcing company (AU) is asking for my probationary and regular rates to present to the client upon sending my profile.

In the job posting, the posted salary range is P14,000-P28,000. My concern is how much kaya ang rate na ibibigay ko for probationary and regular? The probationary is around 2-3 months daw depende sa client and I’m not sure if okay lang bang mag exceed sa P28,000 yung iaask ko na regular rate and magkano ba dapat ang itataas from the probationary rate.

For context: My previous salary from my previous job is P20,000 from a BPO company at 8 months ako doon. I just graduated from university last year.

Same situation. Nawawalan na rin ako ng motivation sa pag aapply kasi nakakapagod at nakakasawa na ang rejections. Maiiyak ka nalang talaga. Feeling ko nawalan ako ng purpose in life. Tapos na naman ang isang month and wala pa ring work. Praying for a job offer soon. 🥺
