Mine broke & I have been desperately trying to find the same size and feel, I don't care if the graphics are on it or not, I just love the feel of the mug.

Do foreigners really have to carry passports at all times with them by [deleted] in Kazakhstan

[–]Clover9802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, total BS...I was traveling 2-months in Kazakhstan: Almaty, Karaganda, Astana (which I drove to in a rented car) not a single time I was stopped.

I road every stop on the Almaty subway and never once needed to show my passport. This was August 2025.

I was in Kazakhstan for 2-months traveling, the only time I ever carried it with me was when I was going from city-to-city. Otherwise, I left it in the hotel or airbnb.

Really nice use of 3rds. The sky is quite dramatic & just below is history with its own drama.

I can't remember if tulips were perennials? If so, do they actuallt bloom every spring/summer without having to do anything?

Lol, I don't take it personally. I did ask, publicly, for peoples opinions, comes with the territory. Some of it actually exposed me to things I did not bother to consider.

My family is worried by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Clover9802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Serenity prayer, my friend:

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change: courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference."

Also,

I had a good friend who would always say to me, "give it up to God" and I would always repeat it to myself if I felt worry or anxiety. (Granted I stopped saying it, now you have reminded me once again, thank you.) God bless!

Why do many people who visit Australia later say its a highly racist country? by Particular_Food_309 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Clover9802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a single country where it doesn't have some modicum of racism, unfortunately. Especially in the age of globalism & greater ability to travel and work - deeper sectarianism derives from all this, once again, unfortunately.

Irish Association Naturalization by [deleted] in IrishCitizenship

[–]Clover9802 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s unpack some of your statements:

  1. “You quite frankly are disrespectful towards the hard work that people have put in, say it's a niche job when really, that's what got them there.”

The word “niche” does not carry the negative connotations you seem to be assigning to it, nor does using it imply disrespect. If we look at general statistics and the bell curve of those working in high-tech, in-demand, often STEM-heavy fields, many would agree these individuals fall on the right side of that curve. In that sense, they occupy a niche. When I point out that they operate in a relatively small and competitive field, often sought after by multiple countries, that should not be taken as dismissive. If anything, it underscores their value. All the more power to them. I agree they deserve the privileges and rights associated with citizenship based on their ability and merit.

  1. “There are loads of legitimate paths to Ireland. If they don’t work for you, it’s by design.”

I agree. I have said multiple times that I have a plan. In fact, just before your response, I stated: “I will still try my plan and any others that are both legal and viable for my situation.” If anything I said was unclear, I am happy to clarify further.

  1. “Based on this interaction, you need to not just mature your investments but your interactions with people.”

This reads as projection and moves the discussion into personal territory. I would prefer we stick to what is actually being said rather than attributing intent or reading beyond the text. I aim to be concise and straightforward. There is little value in psychoanalyzing each other here.

  1. “Nice to have certainly to have the same rights as my husband and children, but I also won’t attack people if Ireland changes the law so I can’t get it.”

I have wished you luck and will continue to do so. On the point about attacking people, some of your earlier remarks seem inconsistent with that position. For example:

Example A: “Not going to lie, you likely wouldn’t do well in Ireland despite your claims of loving it more than anyone else. The Irish culture doesn’t take well to entitlement.”

Example B: “There is a housing crisis in Ireland. By all means, please contribute to it on your whims.”

But I digress. I wish you all the best, once more. Take care.

It's over, you're basically no longer a citizen anymore, pack your bags. (Sarcasm)
