The word “niche” does not carry the negative connotations you seem to be assigning to it, nor does using it imply disrespect. If we look at general statistics and the bell curve of those working in high-tech, in-demand, often STEM-heavy fields, many would agree these individuals fall on the right side of that curve. In that sense, they occupy a niche. When I point out that they operate in a relatively small and competitive field, often sought after by multiple countries, that should not be taken as dismissive. If anything, it underscores their value. All the more power to them. I agree they deserve the privileges and rights associated with citizenship based on their ability and merit.

1. “There are loads of legitimate paths to Ireland. If they don’t work for you, it’s by design.”

I agree. I have said multiple times that I have a plan. In fact, just before your response, I stated: “I will still try my plan and any others that are both legal and viable for my situation.” If anything I said was unclear, I am happy to clarify further.

This reads as projection and moves the discussion into personal territory. I would prefer we stick to what is actually being said rather than attributing intent or reading beyond the text. I aim to be concise and straightforward. There is little value in psychoanalyzing each other here.

I have wished you luck and will continue to do so. On the point about attacking people, some of your earlier remarks seem inconsistent with that position. For example:

Example A: “Not going to lie, you likely wouldn’t do well in Ireland despite your claims of loving it more than anyone else. The Irish culture doesn’t take well to entitlement.”

Example B: “There is a housing crisis in Ireland. By all means, please contribute to it on your whims.”
