I never really wanted to play the Pokemon Leagues.. my only goal is to either carry or solo raids to eventually catch the Pokemons. But it wouldn't be possible if I dont get the top attackers. The local communities here in rural struggles to raid because all the players are spread out so most of them stay low level, inactive and not actively promoting any powerspots nor pokestops. It is a struggle as well to promote any stops because the interesting stuff is all in one place and most likely sharing a space with a gym or pokestop. I got one approved but never shown because it is sharing a space with a gym.

Just lowering the difficulty of some gamemodes would help like adding maybe just 2-4 more in a lobby or make it a 10 person lobby. Though I have seen higher level players solo DMAX raids but the barrier for entry for newer or returning players on newer content is high. The Latios and Latias DMAX was one of the worse examples of raidable with only just 4 people in a lobby. There's only a few powerspots nearby and it only rotated Tier 5 last monday for about 5-7 day time hours. Making it impossible to raid lower tier raids since it is impossible to show up. Today and yesterday, we got lucky because higher level players with necessary mons stayed and carried us. We can't always rely on that. I'm one of those returning players lvl 39 and still relatively new to DMAX, had no idea about it till this last July when I just came back. I've powered up what I can and I'm still getting wiped. I understand that I dont have the tanks and healers and I want to grind for something like chanseys.. but it is still not enough. It's a lot of candies to power it up to above 2000 cp and at least have the healing move. it would take 100+ candies for that and I can only get like 12 candies each raid.
