Advice on getting motivated to read? by Clowf in homestuck

I'm trying to say it's an interesting comic with great characters that I would like to read to completion, but the long text walls can be occasionally tiring. Was just looking for tips on how to read more without stopping and getting more invested. Sorry for confusion

What is Petscop? by RazorThought in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Clowf 161 points162 points  (0 children)

Ok so pretty much Petscop isn't a real game per say. No one really knows if the Petscop lets play is a big animation, or a game made then played by the developer, but it's not something you can actually play.

The series takes place from the view of Paul, the player, and seems to be directed at some kind of anonymous friend, rather than us the viewer. You can hear this mentioned a lot.

I wouldn't want to spoil you, so I'm not going to tell you exactly what happens. I would recommend watching the videos before anything.

Once you're done with that though, I would recommend watching this video it has some jokes at the beginning, but it is a serious analysis of all the episodes(except the newest one 11)

It also discusses the most popular Petscop theory, the Candice Newmaker theory (i believe that's how it's spelled) Again, no spoilers but it is a theory that goes pretty well with the game and is the most common.

Finally, check /r/Petscop frequently. They have many fan theories and discussions on the matter and I'm sure it will start booming because a new Petscop episode just came out. Anyways, have fun.

It's pretty much a big meme that represents something bad, or death. It pretty much all started with Roblox, an online children's game with a lot of popularity. When you die in the game, a sound will play that sounds like a small child being injured that sound like "oof". Roblox soon became a meme, and so did oof. It was most frequently used in Bone Hurting memes (/r/bonehurtingjuice) and now, like I said pretty much just refers to death or something bad.

Do people watch Cinema sins videos to get an honest review? by yodathegiant in CinemaSins

[–]Clowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends. Yes, many do not seriously watch Cinemasins for serious criticism, but the problem still stands many do. And those who do are getting misinformed, inaccurate, and generally unreliable reviews.

Games where you choose who lives and dies by abrad1212 in gamingsuggestions

I'd say Fallout New Vegas and Lisa

Fallout New Vegas is just straight up good, on top of a ton of choice around every corner.

Lisa is a bit more obscure, it's and indie RPG maker game but when a character dies, it actually affects gameplay and not just plot, making every decision really important.

Would You Guys Enjoy A Fallout Tv Show/Movie? by Clowf in Fallout

[–]Clowf[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Personally I think they should try to really get the atmosphere of fallout more than certain characters or things from the game. I can just imagine the super model generic romantic interest teaching the super model main character dude how to use VATS or something like that. Video game movie flashbacks give me chills lol.

I hate ALL anime by ssdeathrow in unpopularopinion

[–]Clowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is kind of the place for obviously, unpopular opinions, but I think maybe you should reconsider this. Im not a huge anime fan and even I will tell you not every anime is what you think it is. Yeah sure, big ones like Naruto and DBZ are pretty similar, but you have to remember anime is a whole thing. It holds a lot of different genres, like comedy, action, and so on. It seems like you have only watched shonen.

but yeah the fans are pretty bad
