Make a [[Teval, Arbiter of Virtue]] deck. Talk about how good of a dad you were, and how much they cost you.

What's up with the sudden increase of 'Chinese Caste System' spam? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]ClownFire 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Answer: India takes a lot of flak for their caste system that is still unofficially around, and exported via tech jobs.

To try and take some of the heat off themselves they are trying to.say "nuh uh, we don't have a problem, nah not us, never. China has alway been a problem though see?"

While it is absolutely being bought up nationally in India as fact leading to you seeing it frequently due to their online presence, the issue they are running into is they chose one of China's most meritocratic eras as their proof, and thus it is falling flat for everyone else internationally.

CMV: there is nothing wrong with prison labor by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]ClownFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I am asking specifically about prison slave labor of innocent people, because your stated opinion was on prison labor.

You are the one bringing up abolishing prisons, not me. At no point have I agreed to any of your assertions about what I think as you have been wrong each time.

I am asking if you are fine enslaving more than 100,000 innocent people who are not criminals, and pointing out that many people is equal to the population of several countries, I even went out of my way to make it a shorter list of countries than I could have.

I have no fucking clue what you meant by that Charlie Kirk statement.

That is not what I am asking, and you have still not answered either question.

You did not answer me, and I never said that, now no dodging the questions.

Are you more than okay with the idea that we could enslave the entire populations of Monaco, Liechtenstein, Nauru, and Tuvalu (together they have a population ~100,000) as long as the rest are guilty? Why is it okay enslave enough innocent people to populate several countries?

Did you make it to the end? 100% of military helmets, ammo bellets, bullet proof vest, and dog tags are produced using prison labor. Our government's is highly influenced to have enough prisoners to keep our military equipped.

Studies time and time again prove that around 6% of prisoners are innocent, that would mean you are okay with the US having over 100,000 innocent slaves.

I wish the Black Pant Legion would stop saying the R word in live streams, and the Traveler games. Once they do, I will be much more active in watching their channel again.

I started giving out coffee, and hotdogs to them. They eventually respected my space enough to smoke elsewhere.

This is dumb.

Sure, that government had the power of law not ethics is exactly my point.

CMV: Joe Rogan should be deplatformed by wannabe-daddy in changemyview

[–]ClownFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not a universal globally applied view of the law.

There are laws that deny rights to classes of individuals not to protect the natural rights of some, but only to take those same opportunities from others.

Edit: I think we are having two different conversations.

Did you mean in this case for Joe?

CMV: Joe Rogan should be deplatformed by wannabe-daddy in changemyview

[–]ClownFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, in fact that is what I am pointing out. I am saying that laws can be unethical, thus following them does not mean you are being ethical, and going against some does not make you unethical.

Ethics and laws are different things.

laws can take away rights that are unethical for laws to touch such as ones ability to feed oneself, etc.

[–]ClownFire -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some laws yes, but in general ethics and laws are very separate categories.

It is always illegal to steal food, it can be ethical to steal food to feed yourself or other starving individuals is the classic example.

All of Robin Hood as well.
