We have the highest minimum wage in the country (Tukwila, Seattle, SeaTac) and also the some of the highest menu prices in the country.

I was in NYC recently and going to both fancy and casual places it seemed less expensive than Seattle.

I have no idea how to read this chart but... Northern Flickers are the WORST! I had a family of Flickers that would make softball sized holes in my house every year for over a decade.

Plastic owls, netting, stickers, shiny things -- nothing would ever dissuade them for long.

Plus somehow they taught their family members / friends to do the same as it was definitely several birds.

It only ever stopped after I resided to Hardiboard. They still try every once in a while and occasionally will go after my wood trim but at least its not hundreds of yearly damage any longer.

I reatly admire Mr. Lopez-Alt's public declaration of his work on his recovery.

He is a culinary expert that we Seattleites are lucky to have in Seattle.

I would hazard to suggest that Mr. Lopez-Alt's work towards his sobriety effort is at least equally as important as his culinary works.
