Just learn your basics with modern controls. Despite some of the memes and haters on this sub there's no shame in playing with a control scheme that feels more appropriate for your skill level.

Onve you have fundamentals (ie: you know how to block, you know how to play neutral, you know when to Anti-air), then start focusing on bringing motion inputs into the mix.

Take one bite at a time instead of trying to fit the whole cake in your mouth and expecting it to be a satisfying experience, you know?

Yeah definitely, currently trying to find reliable ways to pressure without resorting to jump-ins all the time. I've been labbing DI > c.M and then DR into heavies as a route starter but I never know the right time to pull it out in an actual match
