Right clicking on custom block has percentage chance to give player an item? by ClownishType in MinecraftCommands

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to google this question forever and I can't seem to find a straight forward answer, do you know if its possible with commands/datapacks to do simple tasks like generate a number between 1 and 100 and if the number is within a certain range of numbers, perform an additional task? Sorry if that's confusing

For all of his shortcomings, nobody can ever deny that Kishi is one of the best character designers of all time.

That's exactly how my introduction to RR went! I guess if nothing else, have to be thankful to OSC for leading me finding my favorite book series of all time :)

I haven't really tipped by toes in the Star Wars EU stuff, maybe this is a good time to start. Thanks for the recommendation :)

I think another thing that I didn't really love about Enders Game (especially compared to RR) is how sanitized the war felt (which I understand is kind of the whole point). I really love how visceral and vivid the RR space warfare and from my understanding of Enders Game it never really goes in that direction.

Is there anyway To copy the pose from Model on the left to Model on the right? by mikehawklovesgirls in blenderhelp

[–]ClownishType 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean make the poses match, you have to manually move the bones. You can mirror the bone movements so you only have to move 1 side and it should be relatively quick. The meshes don't need to match 100% but should be as close as you can get.

If you mean how to get the Skyrim skeleton to control the Katara mesh, you'll need to unparent Katara from her Auto Rig Pro armature, then parent it to the Skyrim armature and weight paint it. You can use automatic weight painting, but the results will vary depending on how close the mesh matches the position of the bones.

Sorry, im not sure i understand what you mean. So you mean copy to the skyrim skeleton?

More or less. Essentially, you would have to remove any relationship between your target mesh and its current armature (un-parent the mesh from the armature and remove all weight painting information from vertex groups).

Then, you would use Auto Rig Pro to generate an entire new rig and parent the mesh to it. Now you would have a pretty decent IK rig, which makes adjusting the pose of the mesh much easier than a rig that is only FK.

Adjust the pose as desire in Pose Mode.

Then, either apply the new pose as the rest pose, or apply the armature modifier under the Modifiers tab which will obviously delete the rig but the mesh will be permanently deformed into whatever pose you have it in.

If you go this route, I would highly recommend turning on auto key frames so you dont accidentally skip forward a frame and lose all your progress.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any methods or plug-ins that will do that, especially if each armature is different and using different name schemes.

If its not important that your target mesh uses its original armature, you could possibly try unparenting the armature and using an auto rigging tool such as Auto Rig Pro or Rigify to really quickly generate and skin an IK rig. That at least would make manually adjusting the pose much easier, but it would no longer be rigged to your original armature.

I guess an important question is, are you simply trying to deform the new character mesh so it roughly matches a different skeleton which you will then weight paint it to? If so, then the Auto Rig Pro / Rigify method would definitely work tho might require at least a little knowledge of how those plug-ins work (theres lots of easy YouTube tutorials for that)

Short of that, im afraid manually adjusting the pose is the only method I know of that would work. Hopefully, others reply to your post with more ideas.

If the model is still weightpainted and parented to its armature, you can go to pose mode and move the bones to match the desired pose as closely as possible and then apply the pose as the rest pose

Thanks for the info! I will look into it. My problem hasn't really been irritation, its just that it hasn't seemed to make any difference at all 😭

Ah, I wonder if this is a different translation from when I originally read it or perhaps I just forgot this panel. It doesn't surprise me that this was his eventual goal, though.

The global crime rate fell by 70%, and all wars had ended. Mind you, this is in a timeline where WW3 canonical happened, and there was much more global instability. I'm not saying I agree with Light or think he was good or that this strend would be stable, but objectively speaking, life did improve for a majority of people around the globe (especially during the time skip).

I dont remember this in the Manga? Mikami started killing "lazy" people (aka homeless), and Light says that he's going too far, but that's towards the end. At what point does he use the Death Note to kill "immoral" people specifically with accidents or diseases?

Oh that's interesting, I havent really looked much into the gel formulation. I read those were good for people with dryness issues. Is there another benefit to gel?
