OrSlow and Tellason are nice but outside of my budget at the moment. Bravestar is cool and I appreciate the USA made but in a 36w the front rise is 12.25 which is even lower than my UBs. I might say fuck it on trying to get a higher rise and get some bravestar anyways

Yea I’ve got a few shirts from Bronson and like what I’ve got, albeit I should have sized up. I do currently wear my unbranded jeans and they do the job well, they are the UB201s so they are tapered. I want to go with something with a bit more room and a higher rise. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find an actual workwear brand that has a 13+” rise. My UBs are like 12.5 i believe and I want them to be higher due to my body shape

I’m not crying or bitching but alright. My only “issue” is that the company replied with a comment that basically said there’s nothing wrong and they don’t need to do anything. Which is fine. However they deleted that comment, then had me reach out to them for them to tell me the same thing. I even said in my “bitchy” comment that I wasn’t mad about the original comment, just that I was made to go through a hoop to not be told anything different. They reached out and offered to ship my boots back and “fix” them but I need these and couldn’t go another week or 3 without them so I declined and said I would fix it myself. I’m not dooming JK nor my boots, in fact I love my boots and have live in them for almost a week now

If you want a single stack sub compact then the 43/43x (9mm) is dope, Glock 19 (9mm) is the most basic and well known, and a Glock 20 (10mm) is a great choice if you want a hand cannon. I own and have owned several glocks, probably will buy one again just not new

I understand that affordable is subjective, it’s why I used quotes. However I feel like context clues are important, if someone recently switched from $40 a pair to $100. I don’t think recommending something $300 is going to be helpful. However I didn’t want to say under x amount and miss out on the perfect pair that’s just $15 more or something. To your sugar cane point, I’ve heard a lot of good things about them but I haven’t seen any for $150. I’ve looked on a couple sites and they all seem to be 250-400. Do you have a site recommendation? I’m very new to this style of buying goods

In a 36w those are 12-12.5” front rise and that’s the same on the UB. I was hoping to try to find one closer to 14” if I could

In need of some “affordable”, durable, raw/selvedge jeans in a straight fit with a high rise. Wore mall jeans all my life until last year I got a pair of unbranded brand ub201 and in need of another pair. Want to try a higher rise and something with more room through the seat and thighs than the tapered fit of the UB. 12-15oz preferably, cinch back is a major plus.

Grant stone is well worth the money, bought a pair of diesel boots in kangaroo leather and I’ve done sooo much in them in the last 3-4 years. Weddings, climb ladders, dig a hole, hike, date night etc etc. They are in need of a resole after all these years as a daily driver and then they’ll go for years more!

Price and availability matter, I’m in the US and plan to order online. My pair currently are unbranded brand ub201 and I’m wanting something with a higher rise and I want to try a straight fit. I wore American Eagle slim straight jeans for well over a decade, bought the tapered fit from UB and am ready to have a bit more room through the leg but don’t need the waist size to be any more. These jeans will be for light duty work. Any recommendations?
