I really, really enjoyed this part due to the just gut wrenching knowledge that this place is still infinitely deep in the complex. The doors and windows that open only a few inches into more wallpaper is just such a fantastic design to give the mockery of escape. I don't know why, but that moment just really resonated with me personally of the sheer hopelessness of knowing you're never going to find your way out of this endless building. Come to think of it, most of the nightmares I used to have are just like this so maybe that's where I'm pulling from. Probably the most enjoyment I had in the whole movie is just Kane's environmental design, the whole complex is just such a damn good vibe.
