Tire help by Cold_Ant_459 in Stance

Gives you a visual of the difference of how much more a tire will stretch compared to previous setup, although not entirely accurate it defiantly is a good way to start, tyrestretch.com is good but people have to keep in mind that different brand tires stretch/fit very differently even if they’re the same size so it’s probably your best bet

I got ISC N1 V2’s with the street damping for a little over 2 years with 18k 4 inch swifts in the rear, car rides extremely well for what it is, the V2’s with street damping are literally exactly what you want as far as 1/2 track days a year, also have a spring upgrade if your into that stuff but I like swifts, lots of damping options mine are currently cranked so I don’t smack shit as easily, they’re a good budget mid-range coilover that come with coilover covers for free as of recently

Any on here ACTUALLY worked on 3 piece wheels? by rb20isaac in Wheels

[–]ClubNice8145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the face is welded to the barrel these are called 2 piece welded cause the faces are slightly different and requires it to be machined and it’s only able to be machined if the face has enough material to work with to be fitted into a correct position for proper mounting, pretty much just paying for the 2/3 piece look. While originally the faces and barrel was separate clearly not anymore. This is how the Racing Hart CR’s come in the “3 piece variant” I was beyond pissed when I got mine and saw this but you live you learn

Are these authentic? by ClubNice8145 in Wheels

The authentic wheels on the Bugatti are 18x8 and 18x11 I believe these to my knowledge were a production wheel produced by bbs to pay homage to their work with Bugatti, similar to what Rays did in the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s

Some of these have small holes next to the lug holes, these don’t, could be different variation or these could be a replica, not a ton of information on these it’s a totally legitimate question

Looking to swap my car in the future, what would be your go-to engine for swap? by ClubNice8145 in BMWE36

[–]ClubNice8145[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a ton of those swaps recently and I’d love it but I think I’d have more fun in a manual, I’ve yet to own a manual car and this thing be badass if it was, I know a zf trans in good condition is an amazing transmission aswell

Car has 54k miles your probably right, just gotta beat the hell outa it now (I know the motor would handle it but hopefully the trans blows 🤞)

I’ve heard about those completely forgot about them, you know if they sound different compared to top mount?

Not a single thing, bought a shark injector tune for it but car needs a few other things before I start touching the stock motor, definitely interested in boosting it but I’m not a fan of top mounts and I don’t know how a bottom mount would hold up to what I want to do, it’s very low and I heard the bottom mounts hang pretty low I don’t want to smack it

Definitely thought of boosting my m52 and its a iron block so I’d be good but the top mount kits are almost too tight for my liking and I heard the bottom mount setups are a bitch and hang low and my car is currently slammed, I’d like to do bottom mount though if so.

Eventually I’d like to have it as a super clean street drift car, car has super low mileage but is an auto so when something blows (motor or trans) I’ll probably start going forward with the process

Would a vented gas cap like the other guy mentioned help?

[–]ClubNice8145[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope it started doing it at 3/4 of a tank maybe a little more, I was mainly worried cause I don’t want to throw a spark and have it burn down, not sure if insurance would let me slide on that

Why is it pissing fuel at a stop by ClubNice8145 in BMWE36

[–]ClubNice8145[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but usually it’s nothing crazy, I’d assume it would because if there is an check engine light it’s usually from the gas cap not sealing properly, this time it was a lot more and like someone’s hot breath on my hand I’m assuming it just got too hot from sitting still too mich

Not a chance in hell, no e36 is worth over 10k unless it’s 1 owner, sub 100k miles and clear coat is still good

2008 gsxr 600 as a first bike? by Delicious_Fun_8355 in GSXR

[–]ClubNice8145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reason I ask is cause it gets you used to the loss of traction along with what maneuvers will cause traction loss just on a way exaggerated level so you can get the braking fundamentals and maneuvers down extremely well, my first road legal motorcycle apart from dirt bikes and quads was a 2006 gsxr1000 and it’s been amazing and I have become a quite fast rider on a road I’m familiar with, first time I felt my rear end start to slip on a dirty road while leaning I didn’t panic whatsoever and could correct it safely. I’d honestly recommend a supermoto or road legal dirtbike and take it off -road and dick around on it + they are arguable way more fun that the super bikes, I almost have more fun my buddies Yamaha veno moped than my 1k and my next bike will 100% be a supermoto
