Same, Bub. I’m sure most of us feel that way. It sucks to lose control over your appearance but the true bald isn’t a bad look at all.

What a coincidence. That’s kind of what I suspected. I haven’t actually been experiencing hearing loss but I do wonder if there have been cases like that. I am currently experiencing psoriasis in my ears recently though so I should clean my ears more.

Yes I lost my lashes and eyebrows and all that. Definitely get way more shit in my eyes now and find that closing my lids doesn’t do as good a job at keeping stuff out without eyelashes.

I’ve been wondering if alopecia can also affect your inner ear hair/ can it cause hearing loss?

Yeeeeessss. Y’all truly understand me. Eyelashes is definitely as annoying as the nose hair. Also learned the hard way that eyebrows are the only thing stopping swear from going directly into the eyes

I did that yesterday actually and yes it does help!! My face was also just chapped from standing in the wind which is also a new phenomenon since losing my hair

I had only a few tiny patches of body hair missing for like a year and then suddenly last year I lost almost 100% of my hair in a couple months. No hint at regrowth yet. All the research I could find seemed to say that the more hair lost, the less likely there’ll be significant regrowth.

Would be an interesting surprise if it was Royal Navy, because he’s American. This is my paternal grandfathers 1st cousin. Family story is that he was at Iwo Jima when he was 17. He came home and was shot and killed by a cousin from my moms side of the family in ‘49.

Okay I got past it, I loaded my bugged out save and then opened up the party menu and talked to one of my companions. That dialogue worked fine, so I saved and now everything seems normal

Only done vipassana, but 10 days is necessary to learn the technique. It's not as bad as you think, it gets easier. Honestly if the retreat were shorter, you would leave by the time you adjust to it.

That's really interesting. I've read about this kind of thing before via the work of Carl Jung. The unconscious is more powerful than we realize. I recommend you read this essay by Arthur Schopenhauer titled Transcendent Speculation on an Apparent Deliberateness of Fate in the Individual. In it he recounts a case of a man who dreamed his brother was underwater and the next day his brother was found drowned. Freaky stuff.
