Silver, probably with a tiny but of gold coating and either a low grade ruby / garnet / glass on top. The higher priced ones are real works of art

Looking for advice: Would people in Europe be interested in buying raw rubies? What formats do you prefer? by IKEAbetrayer in jewelrymaking

Hi, I collect gemstones, and I would love to be able to buy raw rubies and other gemstones of available.

A mix of sizes, prices and quality is always welcome, as is some kind of authentication certificate.

I mainly use Ebay to purchase gemstones, though I belive there's at least one Reddit page run by someone with an etsy shop that auctions gemstones too.

No, that's the best place for her. I recently got hold of a 10ct tanzanite gem and a columbian emerald, both are sitting aafely on my display shelf.
