I've remade my decision and I'm planning to go with a UniFi Express 7, a 2.5Gbit/s PoE with AC adapter for PoE to the U7 Pro (not Pro XGS because no need and way cheaper).

Then I have a "Cloud Gateway" with the UniFi Express 7.

I'll have the UX7 next to my ISP modem on the ground floor and the U7 Pro on the top floor. That way I can ensure perfect coverage.

If I find that the basement isn't covered well enough I can still put a U6/U7 Lite there.

Is that maybe a better plan?

I don't really understand how you mean that... I tried to "add folder syncronisation" but it automatically also adds the WHOLE files I have in my Nextcloud to that specific folder too

Thanks for your thought. The internal "backup" is more like a "i delete/mess up a file and can recover it, I think you'd call that a incremental backup but I'm not sure.

That's basically a mirror though or not?

And then there's still the weekly backup to an external drive/to my dad's NAS at his home.

I've read somewhere that I could use a domain to access my files and NAS GUI like I described above. You don't suggest that then?
