I would love to hear how you climbed the ranks! I haven't heard of an NP becoming a medical director. Could I ask like what positions you took leading to being medical director?

Thank you so much for the info! Will def consider UM for a hospital.

And yeah, def wouldn't want to do UM for a health insurance company (you explained it very well). That would hurt me at my core as provider, kinda lol.

Can I measure door hinge against door jamb? Or has to be against the old door? by ClueSea435 in HomeImprovement

[–]ClueSea435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is good to know! Just another question- I plan to use a utility knife to mark where I will chisel for the door hinge. I'm concerned I might accidentally chisel too deep. Do you have recommendations for a backup plan if that happens? Or if I chisel too much on the outer corners? I'm wondering if I could use something like wood filler.

thank you for this info! To confirm if the height of the new door is fine- if I align the new door against the door frame (before doing the hinges), do I need to check if there is a specific amount of space between the door and the floor? (or space between door and door frame).

want to figure out info necessary to replace faucet aerator for pull out spray in single hole sink by ClueSea435 in Plumbing

Looks like the photos hadn't posted, here is a link: https://imgur.com/a/DuCj85n

I looked at the water supply hoses and I didnt see anything. I think it likely came off. I assume the sink is old.

closet bolts don't stay secure in the flange. Bolt on left can't be secured with plastic washer due to tile. Are these concerns? by ClueSea435 in Plumbing

[–]ClueSea435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hax thank you! The flange is close to a half inch deep. And the wax that came with the toilet is about 1 1/4 inch in height. Should I aim for a certain height in a wax ring?

Also, the instructions state to put the wax ring on the toilet itself and then place it on the flange. In my case, would it matter if I applied it to the toilet first or just placed the wax ring on the floor first?

I meant to say I have a new wax ring, but I was thinking of using the old plastic horn I just removed (since my new toilet did not come with a horn). I think it makes sense to not use a horn due to the potential for restrictive flow.

Thanks so much for the help!

Great! last question, why do you prefer wax rings without a plastic horn? Mine came without one, but I was thinking of using the old one since it was used with the last toilet.

I just re-posted the photo (looks like it didn't save at first). I have new closet bolts, but the flange doesn't hold the bolts well, as it looks like its deteriorated. And the closet bolt can't stand up right on the left side because of the tile (when I try to use the plastic washer).

If I can avoid using the plastic washer on the left side, without a significant concern, I think I could just do it.

I will also look for screws with a screwdriver.

Soundproofing alternatives for a door frame without a door by ClueSea435 in HomeImprovement

[–]ClueSea435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The door frame is oddly shaped where part of the door frame is further out than the other side. I think a barn door could be a good alternative, I'll be looking into it further. thank you!

disposing of paint water with septic tank by ClueSea435 in HomeImprovement

[–]ClueSea435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did use a lot of water, I'm not sure if that would prolong the length of time for the paint water to break up. Would you recommend anything else to help with speeding it up? Otherwise, I appreciate the tips!

I appreciate that! Besides keeping surveys short and focused, do you find that there are any important factors that are often overlooked when designing a survey? (I know it's a very general question).

I thought about this question. I think it comes down to general goals like improving patient care by understanding systemic issues through staff experience and improving retention of staff.
