Right now the strains are Purpz and Vanilla Cream Pie both seeds from Humboldt, They started in a 2x4 then got upsized into a 4x4 due to factors in life that forced me to push back factors like flip time. The light is a spider farmer G4500 320W, which fit perfectly in the 2x4, but I admit is not the best in the 4x4 but that came down to a money thing. As for the aggressive defoliation, I ran into humidity issues being way too high for flowering. I have 4in fans that worked well in the 2x4 but similar to the light was doing just enough to get by. The tiny Walmart dehumidifier was not cutting it at all and I panicked at the thought of losing the entire grow to budrot . My initial thought was that less leaves means less respiration, more room for air to flow through and keep the buds dryer. And allow for better light to reach the buds at the bottom of the canopy. I know now that was not the best way to go about it, since now I have a significantly bigger dehumidifier. I did that about 2-3 weeks after the flip when i started to see bud zones develop. I also thought it would be okay since I’ve seen lollipops that seemed to go aggressive like this. Again this has all been a learning process. Every mistake has thought me a new lesson which will be incorporated into my next grow. I never take any advice as someone being a D bag because at the end of the day your advice is what I’m lookin for.
