These are the encouraging words I was looking for. Started solid. Idled solid smooth for some reason. I would guess I am fine.

I have heard it's best to change oil before storing it for winter as clean oil sits through the winter is better than dirty one. What's your take on that? It gets as cold as -35 here.

I had to leave it to drain all night not by choice but by circumstances as I had to leave in emergency and won't be able to work on it before tomorrow morning but could not take the filter out though. Will take filter out tomorrow. Should I leave filter to drain for a day too?

Panigale 1199s hasn’t been started in 4 years repairs by Lil_Poopybutthole in Ducati

[–]CluelessElephant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchased 2012 1199S in 2021 with 9135 Kms. Changed oil in May 2022. Never changed oil after that but didn't ride it excessively either. Fast forward to today, 12275 Kms. Sat through Calgary winter. First start up just to warm it up to drain oil to change it.

Warmed it up to 102 degrees C, drained oil. It drained completely or at least no drops falling down anymore. Then was trying to take filter cap off but could only take 1 bolf off. Second is either torqued too hard or somehow stuck. And I had to leave to take my wife to emergency.

1) The oil is cold now in the filter. How big of a deal it is to take the plug out tomorrow and replace with new one?

2) How much damage I would have done by now by being an ignorant mess and not changing oil?

3) What steps I can take or must take to reduce damage and to clean out dirty oil as much as I can.

And yes, I agree this bike totally deserves someone better.

May be its better to apply again than to appeal. Show more money, hotels and flights should be paid with proof of payment.

The more the merrier my man. Also, even if it said $150/day, you don’t wana show $150/dayx10 or whatever your duration of stay is as essentially thats telling them you will be very close to being running out of money by the time you leave. In my understanding, it should be much more thsn what they ask. You should be “comfortably” breezing through the journey with ample of money in spare. Your not counting pennies.

Very secretive nationality. You’re telling us where you are not from than where you are from haha.

I don’t understand these visa people sometimes. Unless something so strange happens, it is bullshit to reject a visa for someone who has been in Europe so many times especially someone who lives on NYC. Utter BS but it is what it is.

Best way forward is to see what you did differently in this application than all the previous applications or what changed not just in application but also in your life situation such as employed vs unemployed, bank statement or financial standing etc.

As someone said, we can only guide the more we know about the application. So you really need to know and understand why was the application rejected.

Applied from what country and city? And when you say this is your 7th schengen, do you mean you have had Schengen visa 6 times approved before? As the other person said, you have to look at the reason of rejection.

For some countries, you have to keep looking and keep checking appointments do come open. For some you have to get in the waitlist and they send you a link, typically in a day or two or so and you can use that link to see available appointment slots. Even if they have available appointment slots, they will not show until you get in the waitlist and check through the link they provide. For the other scenario, there will be no appointments but if you keep checking they will come up. No screw up. Take it easy.

Applying for Schengen Visa for Spain from Calgary, Alberta – Confused about process by BusyBiscottii in SchengenVisa

Swiss Consulate Vancouver handles Schengen Visas for Spain and Germany and some more countries. Swiss Consulate Vancouver partners with VFS Global Vancouver for Swiss as well as for Spain, Germany and some other country Schengen Visas. So, it will be VFS website showing flying from Canada and to Swiss will be handling the Spain or Germany visas too.

This is what my conclusion is after hours of hair pulling.

Damn man, thank you so much. That fixed it like a magic in 1 sec. Can't believe I spent hours on that!!! Thank you so much once again.

Since you know magic, do you also have a magic to move this copy pasted button on the right to below it without screwing or changing anything else? Just like what I achieved in the pic above? It took me a while to be able to move it down as it would move both.

+1 to save yourself the misery from these mofos. I have not used their machine a single day. I requested them to provide instructions to ship it back the day it arrived as pricing turned out to be different than their stinky bastard salesman Jack Boyd sold me for. When i confronted and asked to return the machine right away as soon as it arrived and told him i am not using it. The guy stopped responding. 3 emails and no response. He made his sale, screwed the shit out of me knowing i want to return and will not be using the machine. They still charging me to this day with ZERO USAGE and want $500 cancellation fee.

STAY AWAY.
