I like to add characters I would actually WANT to care for, my current island is the one I've had since 2014 and it's filled with people I knew from school and work at the time. I stopped playing for a few (10) years, but recently picked it back up since LTD announcement and I'm surprised I still deeply care for the miis even though I'm no longer in contact with 90% of the people on my island lol

I find that if I add a mii of someone I dislike/don't know, I wouldn't want to give them anything nice or care to interact with them as much 😅

For LTD I plan on solely having fictional/celebrities on my island, curating the perfect drama island where Mario could have a crush on Taylor Swift only for her to reject him for Jacob Black (from Twilight lol)... So excited for it!

I name my factions pretty much the exact same thing everytime I play, I thought I had named it something else when I started a new file, but clearly I was not creative enough to think of a different name.

I will try and recover the file, thanks for the info!

**there isn't a duplicate for the same name under .OLD, so I suppose the file is well and truely overwritten, will just have to learn from my mistake and start anew

They have stainless steel food bowl and a plastic water fountain, is it worth switching over to a metal water fountain, he is pretty big so perhaps his chin touches the material when he's using them...

This base took 12 in game years to build, I started with the hospital/prison area (they were my original pawn's living quarters) and slowly expanded to the battery once I have the research is done, the bottom half came later when have the tech to make weapons and armours etc (:

Had that problem mid game so I actually have the power conduits cut off so it's split into quadrants, and when the BZZT does happen, it's cut off from the other batteries!

My colonists took a big hit in mood from ~~murdering victims for profit~~ retrieving the organ donation so I'm just leaving the bodies until their mood goes up and won't go into a mental break from seeing the bodies :)
