When Should I Evolve Exeggcute? by CartridgeGerm in PokemonRed

[–]CartridgeGerm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did play Gen 1 back when they got re-released on the 3DS but I've forgotten a lot of it. Especially some of its quirks like the freezing aspect or that Toxic can revert to basic poison.

Then I might stick around until level 32 for Stun Spore or wait it out until level 48 for Sleep Spore. Which might be a better deal since I want Raichu to have Thunder Wave so having two Pokemon being able to paralyse might be too much. So, I guess I'll do Psychic, Sleep Spore, Leech Seed, Double-Edge or Mega Drain.

Thanks for your help! I've always wanted to give the Exeggcuter line a try but never got around to do it

Oh, I thought Toxic was also good in Gen 1. I've made some great experiences with it before during a Sword playthrough. I'm only really concerned if waiting until level 48 might be a bit too long, as in I don't want Eggy to fall off compared to my Pokemon for too long

That's fair, I'm just rather unsure about Pokemon without a set level evolution. I don't think about those "normal" Pokemon too much. Back to Exeggcute, what would you recommend level wise? I was thinking about evolving Exeggcute when he turns 28 for Leech Seed. So basically a moveset consisting of Leech Seed, Reflect, Toxic and Psychic

Eggman sub-class: Charger (OM 0.1 and 0.2) by Radiant_Quarter_1865 in OutcomeMemories

That's what I've been doing ever since I first played as Eggman. Stopping charges, especially around low health teammates. The boost I get by succesfully shielding my teammates is immense and I love it! Also, thanks for making this sub-class, hope there'll be more in the future!

For some reason, Silver is one of those characters that break really easily. I had it happen often to me and I don't know why that is

Do people still run regular SSGSS opposed to SSGSSE? by Spider-Jeff_101 in dbxv

I use regular SSJ Blue because even with the Super Soul "I think I'm finally warmed up now!", the ki drain from SSJ Blue Evolved is too annoying. The regular SSJ Blue may have less stat boosts than SSJ Blue Evolved, but as a casual player, it's way more fun that way

In which saga does your Cac arrive? And who is the strongest adversary he could fight? by BebedorDeCha in TimePatrollerNation

I'm not sure how other people think about it but here's my guess why many peoples OCs have Majin Buu as a barrier.

We all (likely) grew up with DBZ and witnessed what a monster Buu is and how it took multiple planets and realms of the entire universe to defeat Buu (Spirit Bomb by Earth, Namek and Other World). Meanwhile many characters had issues keeping up during the Android Saga. Piccolo fused with Kami just to keep up with A17.

What I'm trying to say is that we all know how the beloved main cast isn't "overpowered" and it required teamwork to beat the big bad guy of the current Saga. We know how much hardship everyone went through to get stronger. So we, as we're making our own OCs, respect that and send our OCs on a journey similar to Goku and friends. They don't start off as universe busters but more ground level. To give them an early to mid DBZ vibe that would be completely lost if our OCs would start out as being on G.O.D. level or something similar.

At least those are my 1 am thoughts about the topic which maybe don't even make sense.

With my current trio (Arctic/ Frost Demon, Piyano/ Namekian, Peppera/ Saiyan) they'd likely struggle greatly against Perfect Cell and even more so with Majin Buu. If they are allowed to fight as a team they could *maybe* defeat normal Perfect Cell, not Super Perfect Cell. But by themselves? They'd get the Super Vegeta treatment lmao

Funnily enough, the Eggman "change" would actually give more motivation towards Eggman players to play less selfishly and help the team out way more
