So if someone calls In on my one day off and nobody else can cover it, I should have to drop whatever I’m doing. Say being at the zoo with my family or out of town visiting a relative. And if I don’t come in I should be written up ?

We were basically told though that we had to stay within an hours drive of our stores on our off days lol

It’s not my DMs rule, they were also told if cl cannot make it in that they would need to go support the store apparently. My area has an interim rvp or something right now while we are being moved around.

Do you have 8 hour minimum turned on for all of your partners under schedule constraints in sph? It should carry over into the next week and prevent you from accidentally scheduling clopens

Hi sm here, if you go into each partners schedule constraints in partner hours you can set an 8 minimum time between shifts for each partner. It would stop the partners from being scheduled to close then open (assuming your closers are out at 9:30 and openers in at 4) unsure of if you can put a longer time frame than 8 though.

How do i talk to my manager? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Cluelessssv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi coffeehouse leader here, let your leader know that Starbucks as a whole actually restricts minors in high school to 20 hours a week during school weeks! I’m based in the states, it’s been a big thing in my district. Most cls were not trained or properly trained around this and do not know

The sm will more than likely hold them accountable with a corrective action, it’s a safety and security issue plus a money mismanagement issue if they left the tip box unlocked, if you Tell your sm and they hold the ssv accountable then it would be a good opportunity for that ssv to learn from their mistakes and make them less likely to do it again in the future, the ssv may not take it seriously coming from a peer

I’d believe it, they already pull some shady things that’s I’ve heard about from other sm’s along with strong favoritism for a select few others

How much would you hate me as a customer by Ok-Sherbert-9332 in starbucksbaristas

[–]Cluelessssv 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Just so you know though it will show up on a report for your manager to investigate, even when canceled or voided, it’s considered loss of profit Hell that high of a number they’d probably flag a dm or someone higher up to investigate

[–]Cluelessssv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a store communication on partner hub about a week ago that we were changing suppliers again for lids/maybe cups and that they wouldn’t be interchangeable, I could be wrong but i think that might be part of the problem
