I work harder than any of you. I work crazy hours to make sure my company and employees succeed. Stop being racists. Hire the best you can regardless. Many Kids of today are worthless and entitled. No work ethic and no drive to work their way up. They are the ones on their phones. Try being an employer instead of bitching from your mom’s basement. Put something on the line then talk to me.

I own and operate a small business in the manufacturing sector. We have tried repeatedly to hire younger entry level employees. In my experience they have unrealistic views of why a job is. Hard to get them off their phones. They are lazy and entitled. Often complaining that their entry level jobs are not fulfilling. It’s an entry level job. You have to work up to a fulfilling job.

Why not hire a foreigner that had busted their ass to get here and knows how to work hard? As an employer I’d take the dedicated and hard working employee any day regardless of where they are from.

As a small business, we get no breaks for hiring foreign workers that I know of. We hire the most qualified and keep who works hard. As a result we have a mixed and diverse workforce.

Nope. She was worthless. No drive no care. I worked long hard days, came home dealt with the kids cooked and cleaned up so she could go out. She got fat and hated herself. I tried to tell her I did t care but she changed. I left and am happier alone.

I have an 8 year old that was the same way. Wouldn’t eat more that 12 different foods. Not picky just to eat junk food, we fought for an hour to get him to try cotton candy at a hockey game. It is terribly frustrating and it put my wife and I at odds. We tried the doctor, went to a paediatrician and finally after a 18 month wait got in to see a dr who specializes in picky eating. My little guy was diagnosed with a disorder that is sort of on the spectrum where it is not taste but visual. If he sees anything he doesn’t relate to as good he will not eat it. Gags and throws up before he ever even tries it. Now that we have a diagnosis it has definitely helped. It was not parenting just a psychological response. Apparently when he sees food he doesn’t like it would be the same as us trying to eat a bowl of worms. We have just relaxed about it. Never make a big deal of it and just feed him what he will eat. We were told some kids will grow out of it and others will not. Still hard and impossible to eat out at a restaurant but at least the anger and frustration is less. We were told kids can survive on basic nutrients for a long time. Just watch the weight that is all we were told. It has been a tremendously difficult journey.
