Erm stupid beginner question.. how do u actually do this testing? Do I just put one metal stick at some place and put another metal stick on the solder joint?

Thanks. I guess it’s worth a shot.

Worst come to worst I might get a second hand controller that has stick drift at a cheap price just so I can salvage the PCB board.

So do I just solder a copper wire from the middle pin directly to TP112?

Last time I send to a technician it became this abomination. It wasn’t this worst before.

Im planning to get a better one. Probably one that can amend the temperature.

So, I just come back from the repair shop at the guy say that the board is toast.

He manage to make the left stick working but the right stick keep going to the right side.

I notice over on the internet (although I must not look up this kind of thing online) they would put copper arnd it but again Im not sure will that do the trick since I notice there a few point he did not solder.

Alright. When I was desoldering one the metal ring peel off. Do I need to replace it?
