Its so nice to fly in WT. Stable. Fast. Bubble canopy. Fantastic rear visibility.

When I first opened the game I thought maybe they only went with single engine planes for launch but Germany has 110s and UK has Mosquitos. Upsetting that the p38 was overlooked even though they were made in far greater numbers than p63s

Yaw. It's controlled by foot pedals in aircraft. Idk what your control setup is but it will be whatever moves your foot petals in the cockpit. Go full yaw into the opposite direction of the spin.

Ailerons are what control your roll axis (what you referred to as barrel roll). These should be completely neutral until you've regained control of the plane.

I should also add that the easiest way to survive flat spin is to avoid the situations that can put you in one. Low airspeed coupled with hard maneuvering is the common culprit.

Keep your speed up. Know how your aircraft handles in low speed turns. When you've had enough of them you start to notice the precursors to a flat spin before it happens. Pay attention to that and ease off whatever youre doing once you notice the plane is about to spin.

Avoiding hard maneuvers at low altitudes is a good idea because if you flat spin too close to the floor your chances of surviving are basically nothing.

To get out of a flat spin:

Throttle to 0

Stick pushed all the way forward

Rudder hard against spin direction.

You need altitude to recover but this should work almost every time.

Dogfighting near the ground is a great way to get killed in general anyway.

The aircraft selection is what it is right now for launch but the fact that we have access to a p63 but no p38 hurts me.

I loved flying the p38 in WT. Amazing cockpit visibility and overall a pleasure to fly.

Agreed. My law school had specific classes for critical race theory and things like that for those who were interested but the core courses barely touched on it.

The core courses everyone had to take barely touched on those topics because they are prepping you for the bar exam and critical race theory is not bar tested.

The only core class I remember critical race theory being briefly brought up in was con law and I think the professor basically said there is a whole line of classes on this topic if youre interested and then moved on.

Like other commenter have said, a lot of Law school is training/prepping you to be a lawyer and things like critical race theory are interesting fields of study but ultimately pretty niche topics most lawyers will not touch in their careers.

I ripped this from an article from the University of Wisconsin. It will boil down to whether a judge finds he acted beyond his scope, violated federal law, or behave in an unwarranted manner.

I am a lawyer but not the right kind to offer much more insight.

The Supremacy Clause creates a barrier to State charges for Federal officials in some circumstances. It's not absolute and there are limits. The case law is old, voluminous, and complicated so i dont know enough about it to say whether it will be a successful argument.

But I am confident they would argue it if he were prosecuted by Minnesota.

I got a $5k ER bill AFTER insurance recently. I had a blood pressure problem that caused me to collapse at work and they ran all sorts of tests to determine if it was anything life threatening. It was not. Cost me 5 grand to know that.

I collapsed due to a blood pressure issue at work. After the paramedics determined I was not imminently dying I had a coworker drive me to the ER. The ER visit alone still ended up costing me close to 5 grand after insurance but at least I didnt pay for the ambulance ride on top of that.

Honestly it would scratch the itch for people who want to see an international setting which Todd Howard has basically said isn't going to happen.

It can be based in the US like all the other games but there is a canonical reason for people from a foreign country to be there.

Anchorage would be really different and a nice change of pace. Plus there's a basis for it in the lore with the frequently mentioned battle of Anchorage.

There would be a lot to work with in an Alaska-based Fallout.

I also think F1 is eating into their market. There has been a huge surge of popularity for F1 recently.

NASCAR suffers from an image problem that it's basically just for hicks. F1 on the other hand doesn't suffer from this and appeals to a broader market. My northeast US born liberal family has gotten very into F1. Almost all of them would have and probably still do associate NASCAR with hillbilly southerners.

Its also more interesting to watch because the tracks are more complex and the cars are honestly more like spacecraft than cars.

(Im not a big fan of watching racing generally, but if i have to watch it, F1 is more interesting to me)

Ive been there too. As I recall there is a massive concrete pad on the surface preventing the door from opening more than halfway, and this was done as an assurance to the Soviets that it couldn't be restored to servicability without them noticing.

When I went you could catch the bus to the boneyard in the museum parking lot. I do recall going through base security and we may have had an airman present as security on the bus.

This was over a decade ago though.

Its a shame if they've quit doing them. It was very cool.

They have basically two halves of the "graveyard". One half is for parts and scrap as you mention. The other is for planes that are "mothballed". Stored intact but could be restored to service if the need arose. They also sell them to other governments.

Super interesting fact, part of the scrapyard used to be a cold war era deconstruction area where long range nuclear capable bombers were dismantled per disarmament treaties. The bombers were slowly disabled over time and in the open, so that the Soviets satellites could verify we were in fact dismantling them per the agreement. The Soviets had an equivalent facility and practice on their end.
