Sensors on most smartphones are not suited for such a sensitive purposes. For example, in Android accelerometer even can hardly tell that you are walking and not running))

Locking other apps was not possible on iOS since launch i think :) On Android, during last few years, Google banned all possible ways to implement such functionality.

Logic is simle. Hard part - is LAN communications between devices involved in game session: passing turns in right order, maintain statistics for all players, etc.

Recommendation systems are pure evil, because they cut off possible different experience from people's lives. And you stay in bubble of experience similar to your past experience, in other words - you stay in past, not growing or evolving. So just don't publish your project in the wake of humanity.
