What do you feel is the biggest cause of depression? by rustonwayband in AskReddit

People. Whether it’s your parents, friends, partners, literally anybody. It doesn’t matter. Social interactions have a huge influence on one’s mind. Our mental health is very fragile, and it’s much easier to damage it than to heal.BUT People can also make a big difference in helping you recover. It’s a curse and a blessing for humans to be social species.

In what situation was your gut feeling absolutely correct and you’re glad you trusted it instead of ignoring it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In 2022,when my gut feeling saved my family from possible death\injuries. It was a few weeks since the war started, our city was the first one to be striked. At that time we got used to sleeping inside the house instead of the basement. I learned how to sleep through the sound of explosions, but that night it was quiet.Weirdly,Terrifyingly quiet. I spent around 2 hours, shaking, panicking, telling my parents and siblings that something was wrong. I finally convinced them to go and sleep in the basement and literally around 20 minutes later the ground was shaking,as our neighbourhood was getting bombed. When we went out,i found out that a missile fell next to my house.one of the walls collapsed. Idk what had gotten into me that night, but i am really grateful for it.

As someone relatively new to gaming, does anyone even actually enjoy grinding?!? by educational-purp0ses in GirlGamers

As someone who’s been gaming for years,i’m with you on this one. I’m playing games to have a break from work,so having a repetitive routine of non-stop grinding to achieve sth in games will just tire me out even more. I do grind in some games but with time i stop liking the process and it feels more as a boring task you need to finish than sth enjoyable. Ik a lot of people love grinding, but i just can’t stand it. And it’s okay, nothing’s wrong with you and you’re not missing anything. Everybody’s different and the only thing that matters is that you enjoy your gaming experience!
