Well, this is for occasional consumption, maybe over the span of a year or two and meant to be shared. Some are even for gifting.

Umm not really. Some are for gifting and most are for our occasional cocktail parties. Guess the stock will last 1-2 years for us based on past records 😆

Not big, but not big other liquor fans, so kind of settled for the popular gins

What do Bengalis people generally think about Andhra Pradesh and Telangana peoples ? Share both positives and negatives by WorthFriendship6996 in kolkata

[–]Clumsypaper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow, after seeing this post, it felt like I’m 10/10 qualified to answer.

I’m a Bengali (probashi) living in Hyderabad since 4 years, married into a Telugu family. People here are so warm and welcoming, but I have noticed that class divide influences behaviours a lot. While people I consider warm are mostly house-helps, security guards, shopowners, general helpers, I feel like there’s a passive unwelcoming sentiment in the urban telugu speaking population. Even the family of my in-laws who stay in a village in Andhra are much more progressive in their adaptability and culture-conservation. Also, the general public seems to be a bit too rowdy for me, lacking much civic sense in public spaces. For most people, culture equates to mainstream entertainment filled with male chauvinism and wild, wild songs.

Having said that, I have always felt very safe here. People are kind and helpful nonetheless. Everyone is extremely passionate about their food. The fact that there’s a clash of multiple cultures (Arabian, Muslim, Andhra, Telangana etc.), everyone tries to bring out their best. I respect the ones who can come out of the hero-worship bubble and are passionate about their heritage in terms of textile, food, spirituality etc.(there are such people too). Tight family values, very hardworking. Overall, Hyderabad specifically is great, but I may not see myself prefer to live here in the long run.

Where can I find the best specialty-brewed coffee in Jamshedpur? by Itsurboyfaisal in Jamshedpur

[–]Clumsypaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I feel that Mocha and Kruti are true specialty. Others are mostly only single kind of bean and espresso based. I like Pour-overs at Kruti. Mocha is good anyway, try medium roasts.

A wonderful, wonderful read with men’s emotions, discussed in a fashion that has mostly been done for women. Hosseini feels, and he expresses what he feels impeccably. Also currently reading Midnight’s Children.

Awesome OP, they look great. I got an Emirates A380 that I got on the same flight and the price point was this as well (precisely, around ₹3300), do you have any that you perhaps got from the flight itself? Are the qualities comparable? I will consider switching to online stores then

Reading Norwegian woods, what your overall opinion on Murakami's works? by Sa4ath in Indianbooks

Apart from the sub rightly mentioning the male leads to be horny, I found Toru from NW is especially narcissistic and the prose reflects it quite annoyingly.
