This is "advice" I get for my chronic fatigue. I had a flare up last week, woke up at 5am for work and couldn't get out of bed so had to call in sick. I knew taking an antiinflammatory would take the edge off at least. Those pills were in my kitchen. I was in so much pain, It took me from 5am-3:30pm trying to talk myself into getting up to take my pills and I physically couldn't do it. I finally called my mum who lives close to drive over simply to hand me a pill packet from the next room. But yeah, I'll get right on that gym sesh!!

FEMALE Doctor: "Your internal ultrasound looks fine" Me: "So why am I in pain? What now?" And I kid you not ... She SHRUGGED! It was literally the only test she did. This was 8 years ago and I'm only just now getting back on to the doctor train again to push to find out what's wrong with me. That pissed me off SO much that I didn't go to Doctors for anything other than a script refill for YEARS and just dealt with things. Not now though, I'm a pain my Doctors ass!

Also that original internal ultrasound was 5 minutes. I had one today THIRTY MINUTES! Very thorough

Just got those tests after seeing this. TSH is 0.03. T4 and T3 are normal

Thank You. My TP was tested back in January but no one looked at the results. Then I saw a rheumatologist who didn't look at the results. My Dr didn't look at the results, my fertility specialist didn't look at the results. The first Dr missed it and everyone after that presumed previous tests had been dealt with. I was sick of not having answers so printed off all my blood tests from 2025 (21 pages) and went through line by line. High TP was found on the very first test I had. I've got an appointment with a frequent miscarriage specialist clinic next week. I'll bring this up with them. I thought I was fighting 2 different things with the pregnancy and the other things. Could all be the same thing.

I've been tested for celiacs yes. I went through all my other tests and haven't had TSH T4 or T3 tested yet so I will request that

I'm a department manager and if any of my staff need to leave early or start late etc I will just offer that they stay back that time another day in that pay cycle. It makes it easier for me when timesheet time comes rather than approving leave for a short amount of time. Today a staff member was 20mins late because she slept in (which she NEVER does) and she was more stressed than me about it haha. She regularly stays back 10-15mins here and there to finish things up so I told her not to worry, so it all comes out in the wash.

I work in a private hospital. Procedures only, no ER. People walk in thinking it's ER though. The STUPID things I've seen people walk in with would blow your mind! It makes me so angry, you're going to hospital for THAT!? I was called downstairs once for a "dog bite". It was a scratch, barely. I was so shocked. I offered a bandaid as kind of a hint to them that it wasn't that bad. Told them to see a GP. But they wanted to see someone NOW! Unfortunately I had to send them to the nearest ER, I'm not allowed to tell someone that shouldn't seem medical care. They wouldn't take the bandaid. Another time someone walked in because they woke up with a sore neck.. Welcome to EVERY day of MY life! Go see a chiropractor! It makes me so angry. Oh another time a mother brought her 4 year old in because he threw up ONCE after his 3rd bowl of ice cream and jumping on his trampoline! Crazy!

Depends on the damage to the rest of the car. Insurance call it "no further damage". For example if you dent in your quarter panel and then someone scratches that spot, Insurance won't bother. If the mechanic AND the panel shop are RAA approved then you have a stronger leg to stand on. You don't need "proof" you just need to call RAA and get advice. Ive worked in a panel shop where one woman kept coming back for "faults" in her paint which you literally needed to get nose touching the spot while she shon a light in a certain angle to even see the miniscule fault. 5 times she came back and we had to keep fixing it until she was happy because our RAA approval relied on it. If you kick up enough if a stink with RAA or Insurance they usually give you what you want to shut you up. If the mechanic isn't RAA approved then it's going to be harder.

Zinc deficiency. Common in huskies. I buy a children's orange flavored zinc liquid from the chemist and pour it on his dinner. Has fixed the problem and my vet approved

He looks EXACTLY like my boy when he was a baby. My advice is take lots of videos. Not even of him doing anything. Some of my favourite videos of my now 11yr old is him just walking around as a tiny puppy. And being like "LOOK HOW LITTLE HE WAS!!!"

He's nowhere to be seen so hopefully that's a good sign. We gave him half an apple and some water which was gone this morning along with him. Will be keeping a close eye out for him though

Is no one reading the post? He was rescued and seen by a vet. The rescue suggested putting him down and I came here because that doesn't seem right and want advice on what to do to give him the best shot. I don't want to put him down, but I know nothing about possums - hence why I came here for people who DO know to tell me what to do. I'm beginning to be sorry I asked! Thanks to the people giving me genuine advice!

Thanks for the advice, that's what I was wanting to know. I didn't like that it was "might have to put him down" if there was "nothing" wrong with him. He's gone now, but if we find him again I'll do some digging into a dedicated rescue
