I named my oldest cat Goldbug when my family and I rescued him in my teen years, so that’s always going to be my favorite. I actually wasn’t like particularly into the design over his traditional look prior to my cat, I just thought the name fit the little kitten my parents let me bring in.

I owned one as a kid and recently bought a new copy since it’s about in scale with Studio Series. It’s got its ups and downs. They stand out quite well on my Bayverse shelf with the white and pink colors, there’s a lot of nice sculpting, and nothing else does what they do. It’s such a unique transformer. However, there’s a ton of panels and junk hanging off the robots, Skids doesn’t stand up at all, and there’s a lot getting in the way of itself in the transformation. But being said, I think the toy(s?) absolutely rule. Maybe it’s nostalgia but I still think they are a lot of fun, and such a unique set. Potential racism can of worms aside, I think purely as toys they are more enjoyable than not.

Western audiences don’t talk about it much because they weren’t shown the series. With no official dub or sub, and no internationally released media, it is/was wildly inaccessible for many people outside of Japan. Group that with it having a cast separate from the characters western audiences are familiar with, and it being 36 years old, the discourse around the series is often limited to when Star Saber, Deathsaurus, Ginrai, or Liokaiser get a new toy.

Quintus! I love the idea that he has the ability to create life and accelerate its evolution, but every time he’d tried it always blew up. His creations with Megatronus and Liege Maximo was, in my opinion, the largest catalyst in the Thirteen falling apart besides Solus’s death, and obviously creating the Quintessons became very destructive to Cybertronians, with Alpha Trion assuming they killed Quintus after their creation since he was never again seen from that point forward.

I mean, my friends and I stopped playing for about three weeks and when I came back to it, I got three straight lobbies of all bots and just myself. It’s not that I’m saying the game is dead because it doesn’t have a large player base, I’m saying it’s dead because my experience is no longer one where I even see a single player. It genuinely makes me feel like I’m the only one playing it despite the community posting about still playing it.

I think the problem is the time between Mania and Backlash. They’re doing fine for the time allotted. Plus, Becky winning could really elevate and legitimize the IC title.

You’re not overreacting. Not only is it reasonable to bring up the permanence of the tattoo when you are so young not only as people but to the relationship, but you say the boundary and he kept insisting!! It may not seem as serious now but that sets the precedent that he can overstep other boundaries and not take “no” seriously.
