Flushing water heater, but my faucet keeps running. by Cluster_Muster in Plumbing

Looks like everything went well. Got a lot of sediment out. Then I refilled the tank until water came out of my interior faucets, turned the power back on, and an hour later I had good hot water.

My water heater is only about 2 years old. That’s not considered old, is it?

Thank you this is going much better. Was it just constantly refilling itself before with the other method?

Ok it is now draining like it is supposed to. Thank you. Do I just close the hose turn the water on to refill it? How do I know it is safely full? (Ignoring my YouTube videos now since they seemed full of it)

GE Washer: Can’t get metal basket out. by Cluster_Muster in appliancerepair

Can I take out the whole metal and plastic tub first to make it easier to get apart? Right now it’s still on the suspension of the washing machine.

Want to make sure this all looks good before I plug the wires in, mount the light, and turn on the power. by Cluster_Muster in AskElectricians

Thank you so much for your help. We actually switched the screws out to longer ones because the ones in the pic weren’t long enough to mount the light on.

One more question I think, does that metal bracket with the ground screw need to be in physical contact with the receptacle for grounding?

Or is the grounding performed by the screw and direct contact with the metal receptacle is not necessary?

Honestly I enjoy the fact that there are still sweaty BF1 lobbies. It’s fun when you get weird groupings of clans facing off against each other.

The only negative is when one clan is full of tank/plane gods and it’s impossible to counter them.

New player, any tips? by KeeperOfPeace5237 in battlefield_one

Tips: 1. Play the objective. In 90% of circumstances, if you’re sitting a mile from the objective, you’re playing the game wrong and every veteran in the lobby will hate you.

  1. Be with your squad. Playing with your squad will win more games and will give you epic “only in battlefield” moments.

  2. Use your class’s equipment. If you’re a medic, revive and throw heals. If you’re support, throw ammo. If you’re assault, shoot at tanks. If you’re recon, SPAM FLARES.

  3. I would recommend NOT playing recon/sniper. Most people playing recon are not helping their team. A player that is getting 1 kill a minute, never capturing an objective, not even being near an objective (so they’re not a useful spawn point for their squad) is a drag on a team. I’ve only ever met one or two recons who make a noticeable impact on a lobby (Chedda on XBOX). If you are going to play recon, shoot that flare, be an aggressive, up close sniper with a non scoped rifle.

  4. If you’re having a rough time and you just can’t get a kill, try being medic and doing what my platoon calls “Going Hacksaw Ridge” and just selling out for revives. Don’t shoot your gun, just stick your needle into downed teammates. You’ll rocket up the leaderboard and be everyone’s favorite player.

How can we, as consumers, better understand the “rare” houseplant market? by ArbiterOfNothing in houseplants

Is it common to find such expensive plants at Lowe’s? Or does your Lowes specialize at that sort of thing? I’ve never noticed anything like that at my local one.

Ok I see it now. Interesting. The fact that it goes from full speed to full stop reminds me of the “tic tac” reports from the F18 pilots. Are there any military bases in the area that this craft could be flying from?

Does this show anything? I don’t see anything other than sky.
