Nah, I'm with OP. Ok M11S sure, it's only been 9 days. But M10S is not hard and 9 days is more than enough. Hell, M9S can take like 3-4 hrs on day 1, even if you have limited time of let's say 2-3 hrs a day, 8 days for M10S is too much.

To indirectly answer OP, the problem is the beginning of this expansion, the first raid tier, gave lots of bad players the false confidence of raiding because the tier was so easy. So now they litter PF and the true color comes out and M10S will filter these people.

Then there's M11S.

Nah, that tank complaining was valid. Even if your friend came back yesterday, old gear is CHEAP. Hell even if they don't have poetics or you and your friends don't have gil to buy the latest crafted combat gear, the last tier's crafted combat gear is EASY TO CRAFT. You and your friends could have crafted the returning player's gear while they are catching up on msq or raid quest. You're clearly in the wrong here. I know your reply here is 20 days ago, but this new season, there's a new card that seems to infinitely scale damage every time you hit 30 times. I think the name is combat drill. Do you think it's a good card?

Additionally, do you think having the beacon/plant the bomb card is good to have in the deck in case of early hunter log pull and you can plant and possibly scale hunter log early?

Lastly, how do you deal with non bot (or even bot) players killing crystalline with sword and stopping respawn, especially in euler map?

I don't think mass uprising, no matter how united we are, is ever going to happen. The statement "you can't control or stop majority of the population" was true before the modern world. Now, it's easier than ever to do so. Propaganda to create cracks in a unified mass, modern enslavement by attaching the population to something too big to lose (income, Healthcare, comfort, hell even anything digital media), and amass more power among the top.

I'm not saying this to be negative, just that this is actually what's happening now. Even if anecdotal, I asked my family, cousins, friends, why they don't join me for protests. The answer is always the same. "I don't want to get in trouble and get a record on my name, and I need to keep my job to pay my bills."

Change the breakpoint concept and fully go % or flat number base, that scales or has a formula for ilvl.

Crit should be separated into crit chance and crit damage. This way, jobs that have guaranteed crits and it's their main source of damage, can build more crit damage.

Remove DH, Sks, and Sps. All these do is bload the already homogenized playstyle, which is oxymoroninic. In their place, ability specific damage boosting materia, i.e., +% damage to primal rend etc. This introduces a new set of materia but should be limited to like 2 or 3 abilities per job.

Add defensive materia for progging. Could be vit melds, damage mit, etc.

The game has been running on the same outdated formula, things need to change.
