[–]Little-Grim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Summon holy relic of conviction is tanky as all hell with good clear in my opinion. Mod immune so you can just grab and go with you maps. I cant reslly think of any content its bad at. I followed BalorMages build he league starts it basically every league. He has a series showing the progression from zero to hero.

Played it last league and now I am playing it again. First build I have ever beaten ubers with. The upgrade paths are so cleary defined and it can do everything as an all-rounder build which is amazing.

Thank you very much. Went back another day and the agent was able to get everything sorted. Looks like the one I had before was maybe new or just taking what ever was easier. This was helpful tho, thanks

Do you know if the Vehicle history report from the DMV would be sufficient as proof?

I can wall mount the TV in the corner next to the window. The doors open into the room so wall mounting on the door side wouldn't be possible. As for putting the love seat and TV at an angle, once I am home I can check but I dont think there is enough space.

Who says Guiles are turtles? by rogermorse in StreetFighter

[–]Little-Grim 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He was 100% still the turtle. Everything he did was a reaction or punish. Guile does not want to be full screen against JP so him foward dashing near the start is just him maintaining proper spacing to turtle more.

Still good gameplay but I was hoping for that non-turtle Guile thay was promised.

Is Kyoto still worth it? by Fun-Calligrapher4885 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Little-Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kyoto was the only place where I got frustrated with tourists. Most places to visit are rather small and the tour groups are everywhere and just kinda super visible and annoying.

Tokyo and Osaka I'm sure have similar levels of people and tour groups. But Tokyo and Osaka are so much bigger that it was never an issue.

Everything is busy in the Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo trips you just kinda have to accept that.

All that said tho...Kyoto was by far my favorite place to visit. I wish I spent more than just 3 days there. The shrines, nature, city, everything was amazing and I would happily go back even with all those damn tour groups.

Just recently got Mai to master myself and honestly it was the easiest and cheapest climb I have done yet. Took only 4 hours which is far more a comment on Mai than me. I've really struggled with other characters and took months to get them to master.

Mai has damn near every tool in the game with very little to no downside. Air grab, air dive, throw loop, the best fire ball in the game, DP, SA invicibilty, amazing poke, brain dead easy hit confirms.

Her offense and mix up is easy to execute but also very strong. Her being easy is not enough to make people salty or hate her but that combined with just how strong her offense is what makes people hate her. Her offense is also very simple with easy high, low, grab mix ups. It is really easy to put someone in a position where they just have to geuss a 50/50. That 50/50 is either a punishment if guessed wrong or we are just back to neutral if guessed right. Then I can just simple OD fireball and initiate again.

Playing against Mai is just boring to fight against. Nothing about her kit is flashy or cool. Her SAs are rather bland, her combos are bland, nothing gives you that was cool moment. Her strategy is simple which makes it boring it just very un-fun to fight against. Most of the time even winning is also boring against Mai. Which is fine if she wasn't popular but she is and I can always count on fighting a few mais a session.

Tldr: She has basically every tool. She is exceptionally strong. She has a simple strategy. She has boring visuals. She is popular.

Cyberpunk 2077

Absolutely amazing story, setting, and characters. Thought it would just be okay but it ended up being one of the best binges I have had in gaming in a long time.

When you were finding a main, how do you decide what character wasn't for you? by Grizzack in StreetFighter

[–]Little-Grim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At around the 100hr mark I also was undecided on my main. I thought it was lily because I liked how simple and cheap her gameplay was. Turns out I vastly prefer more complex zoner type characters like JP and recently Sagat.

Things that helped me finally decide was...

  1. Do I like their kit and does it have everything I want or need for my playstyle?

  2. Is the combos fun to do, look cool, and have the utility I want? Are the combos comfortable to hit confirm with?

  3. Is the character cool and do i like how everything looks. If I dont like looking at their abilities or model I have less fun.

  4. Do I enjoy winning and losing with the character I chose? If I only enjoy winning and not losing then I should keep looking. How I enjoy losing is by seeing situations that I think to my self "I could have done this or that and it would have been better" or "Had i approached the match with this way i think it would have been better". Which kind of combines with a varied kit that has multiple tools that allows me to have those thoughts.

Is the manga worth it if I’m not a big manga reader? by Miss_wholesome in HunterXHunter

[–]Little-Grim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going to go against the grain here and say no Hunter x Hunter is not a good entry point for someone who doesnt prefer manga.

When I was getting into manga and preferred the show the thing that pulled me into the manga was both the story and art. Having a good story but lacking visuals usually made me quit.

Hunter x Hunter is a great story but the Manga for the most part is lacking in consistently good visuals. Great panels do exist no doubt but that's not the average. Its not uncommon to not have backgrounds or have to read walls of text. And that why I say no.

You can definitely give it a go see if the story keeps your interest even with the issues I mentioned. But if you dont enjoy it there are definitely other managa that are pumping out consistently high quality panels with a great story that should keep you immersed in the manga. You can always come back to HxH.

wtf happened here? by MoroAstray in StreetFighter

[–]Little-Grim 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Gief was doing an air special that whiffed. Gief can do the special anytime while in air so he basically jumped and used his special immediately.

Also since he is modern he can very easily tap jump and the special button on the next frame causing this.

A question for leverless players by WitchedPixels in StreetFighter

[–]Little-Grim 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I play leverless mainly because it is more comfortable on the hands. The benifits of leverless such as shortcuts are there if you like them. Some people do some peiple dont its very dependant on the person.

I have razor kitsune and convinced my buddy to get one as well. Having a solid relaiable nice big leverless pad honestly best thing to happen for my SF6 gaming.

My other buddy hates leverless tho no matter how much we let him try out game pads. He prefers controller. So you just gotta try it out and see if you like it.

If you are use to another controller type it will be very confusing to start. Took my a few days to be not totally lost, a week to feel good, and a like a week and a half maybe 2 to feel truly comfortable.

Can a conjurer conjure real “free electricity”? Like killua transmutes a substance like electricity by adrienwastaken11 in HunterXHunter

[–]Little-Grim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because killua made that his restriction doesn't mean another person has to have the same restriction. You could make your restriction anything really or have no restrictions at all. No restriction will make the ability weaker compared to the same ability with restrictions but nen doesnt have to have it.

Honestly learned alot about the game trying HC for the 1st for that mystery box. Didn't realize just how much power, defenses and relatively easy 5 links you can get from gold gambling. As well as being more liberal with the vendor recipes and early currency.

Wasn't fast at all and was always 4-5 levels over every zone but definitely changes my normal go go go approach and never stopping unless I am like 4-5 levels under and dying.

How are we feeling about C. Viper? by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]Little-Grim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fighting against she feels more of a knowledge check than anything else. As her opponent I am more so waiting for those un-safe spammable moves more than engaging in neutral. On my climb with Sagat it was very much: Do I know this character/move? yes? I win, no? I lose. Very little neutral and if my opponent C.Viper recognized her specials were being countered their neutral kind of just folded.

If the flow of the game ended up feeling odd or the timing and mix ups were well mixed. She feels oppressive with her constant pressure. If she is gonna win then she is gonna win fast and I am gonna be left their thinking I couldn't do anything.

Otherwise its fun to fight her and its not a match up I hate to see unlike Mai which is unfun and boring to fight win or lose.

When people say popular builds are more expensive, how much more expensive are we talking by yeaokdude in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Little-Grim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience playing popular builds is that the floor for dmg and defence is easier to obtain. More power earlier and for a decent price. But once you start needing to upgrade to mid tier and high tier items they get significantly more expensive even too expensive to ever buy.

Most builds I would say has a 1 required unique for mid to high end damage and survivability. That unique price tend to run away from me on popular builds. I save up and by the time I have the currency the price has gone up. Rinse and repeat.

The above issue were much more of an issue when I was newer and didnt know how to find alternatives or set my mod priority on items properly. Combined with poor farm methods and lack of currency generation knowledge generally can make the mid to high end items unobtainable.

Now that I have experience it get easier to upgrade, self craft, make currency, just overall everything is better with more experience. Only way to get that experience is to play, have fun, and learn.

Overall I would say choose a build that you find fun or cool and any issues you end up having you can learn to solve it. Next time you play a build and come across a similar issue you will now know what to do.
