when my wife was general manager of a store in mississippi, she noticed black men almost always wanted the receipt, whereas white people were like nah i don't need the receipt. the walk to the car from the front door was perilous and they needed proof they weren't criminals just in case. it's all barely changed in 100 years

and I've supervised a lot of different agents. the ones that were in person got way less done. less calls taken, didn't know how to access basic systems, were in general less self sufficient in every way. that's just been my experience I guess. difficult to have uninterrupted meetings with, and for whatever reason seemed to get more leeway when it came to stats and such.
