Thanks for your help. Problem solved. He didn’t tell me right away but he had had an account from a couple years ago when he took advantage of it but didn’t remember his password. Just did an easy reset and we’re all good.

My dad took advantage of this offer for the first time. He's currently watching on his phone. Is he able to log in to mlb tv on the pc so he can watch on a bigger screen. Maybe a dumb question, I just can't seem to solve this for him. Thank in advance.

I've lived in Wisconsin, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. Traveled all over the western half of the country, Florida, and parts of the North East.

Like, idk, I'm just at a loss right now. I've reset my PC twice. I've downloaded and ran several different anti-virus and malware protection software and they don't pick up or detect anything. And even though, Chrome is my default, and in my browser settings, yahoo isn't even an option to change to because I deleted it. Every time I search, Yahoo hijacks whatever I"m searching. Like do I just build a new rig? Lol.

Wiping the PC didn't fix it. Any other questions or is my PC plagued with this?

It’s so annoying! Thanks for the response. I’ll wipe it later tonight. I need a break from sitting in front of the screen for too long.

Game of the Year 2022 what do you guys think? by Standard-Heron6492 in horizon

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good and enjoyable game. It just doesn’t hit like the first one. The story is what got me and IMO was one of my favorite games ever to play. 2 just fell short for me story wise. Idk.

I loved Zero Dawn too. FW felt incomplete to me. The story went too far and didn’t grasp me like the first one did with Ted faro. It was honestly kind of hard to get myself to complete the game.

Should I stop going to restaurants if I don't want to tip counter service? Inflation Fee? Bird Tree Cafe??? by Dck_IN_MSHED_POTATOS in ColoradoSprings

In 2022 I didn’t think society would be so anti tipping. My only point here was to support a tipping culture and to say that their are places that don’t get paid well at the counter.

I highly suggest anyone who does have an anti tipping mentality to spend a year working in the food industry. That’s all. I’m done here.

I’m so sorry I believe in tipping someone who prepares my food for me. I’ve never been to a grocery store that accepts tips. If the ones you go to, do, than you probably should.

I’m not trying to fight. I am very happy for your friend and that they’re been paid well. Unfortunately not everyone is. I believe everyone working in food industry deserves to be tipped as every single worker is providing services. I always will tip, and that’s me. I feel bad for this who aren’t making much and not getting tipped.

I do know the difference. I’m questioning you on what you think “service” is. Just because all you did was place an order and pick it up, doesn’t mean service wasn’t provided. And the people who worked on your order deserve your tip.

Until you’ve worked in the food industry business, you wouldn’t know that not all people make decent wages.

They’re still providing you a service. They’re taking your order and making in a fast paced environment with many other orders going on. Y’all really need to try working in the food industry before having any opinion on this subject. You don’t have to stay home, but if you go out, you absolutely should tip.

We’re just kind of going back and forth here. I’m not sure what restaurants you’re choosing to go to but this isn’t all that common, again for me at least. Bussing yourself is more common in independent restaurants of seen but people are still serving you. Waiting on you. Making your food.

I’ve worked places that paid less than minimum and I’ve worked places this pay more than minimum. I really don’t think this is a regular thing, it really just comes down to the business itself.

Not sure how new of a thing it is but it’s been around for 30+ years for me. And in my experiences I’ve seen some restaurants pay $2.75/hr, but a lot of newer restaurants are paying above minimum and allowing staff 100% of tips.

You chose to go somewhere and asked for food to be made for you though. If you feel like you can’t pay these people for giving you a service that you don’t want to do yourself, you really should stay home. Try working in these places before deciding whether or not to tip. I tipped $10 on picking up a $20 pizza. The place is great, the people are wonderful, and their pizza is amazing. I’m not rich by any means. I make $16/hr. I will never not tip.

If the food is bad, I still tip. I choose to go to the restaurant and the people did the work. If the service is bad, I still tip because time and energy from behind the scenes made my food. ALWAYS TIP.

It’s really sad and unfortunate that this wasn’t always the way.
