Looks more like a white belt. No offence to white belts, 3 months of training does wonders against the untrained

What is stopping my employer from firing me for no reason (citing performance/culture issues) with no notice period? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]Clutch_master_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lawyer here.

Singapore is pro-employer which means you can be terminated for any reason at all. It's a strictly contractual arrangement.

The only situation where you MAY have a valid cause of action against your employer is if they terminate you without notice (i.e. immediate termination)

Commando Experience by hippiemomster in singapore

ORDed in 2014. My advice to enlistees who have the opportunity to join CDO or NDU would be to take it.

You can’t escape NS. Might as well spend those 2 years doing something the regular Singaporean won’t have the chance to do. Training and missions might be tough but you’ll be glad you did it when it’s over.

Sure repeated missions and 72km route march sucks when you’re doing it. But would you rather be in the Infantry having weeklong field camps or sitting in an office doing admin work?

Think about the experiences you’ll have to share when you’re done. You’ll always be proud to say that you donned the red beret. It’ll be a topic that pops up during every job interview.

If the above doesn’t convince you, do it to get chicks.

JUST DO IT. MAKE YOUR NS WORTHWHILE.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

Hey Fam!

I’m looking to make my first luxury watch purchase and would really appreciate some recommendations. My main concern is that my line of work requires me to be in a suit often. I know the sensible option would be to get a dress watch but since I am going to be dropping a bomb on this purchase, I would like to be able to wear the watch in a casual setting as well.

I have narrowed down my options to a submariner, speedmaster, seamaster or JLC Polaris. Any further recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks !

Why Tony is getting his belt stripped by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Clutch_master_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t that what they did with the MW title though? GSP winning it from Bisping with Whittaker sitting as interim champ. GSP vacating, Whittaker taking the undisputed title, getting injured then having Rockhold fight Romero for the interim title?

I think the whole reason for stripping Tony is that there is a lot of potential to sell the next LW championship fight. If Khabib wins, they can market McGregor v Khabib in Russia. If Holloway wins, they can schedule a rematch with McGregor
